    Not positive but that return port looks to be fine for use with your valve. Take the forward one out and verify it just dumps into the hydraulic sump. Your pressure supply and pressure return are coming from the two ports on the block up front. Dan

    Two obvious things to check: 1) Valve oil delivery is slow. 2) Exhaust oil flow is (partially) blocked I am guessing (pretty good one) that your loader valve has regen on the extend function. That sort of rules out #2 but its easy to check. Just disconnect the rod end hose (not the coupler)...

    If you lift the boom in float the base end of the cylinders will likely suck in a good bit of of air. Expect them to sag considerably when you let go. Dan

    What size bush hog and how heavy was the vegatation? In middle range a 72" rear discharge finish mower going uphill hills in high grass is enough to drag down my L3901. The low range is there for a reason and it aint just about top speed. Dan
