bucking on a grapple - crazy talk?

I got this one to buck with, because it’s narrow. Haven’t tried it yet to report back. This video is one of the things that convinced me:

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cut up the white pine I took down the other day. Was close to the house and dying. New Stihl 661 is a beast! New L4701 and grapple worked great too. Big improvement from B2301. Believe it or not from the photo, I just fit the log through that gate. Feel free to rate my stump! (Game of Logging...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

http://www.frostbitegrapple.com/ There are similar ones made by Fransgard, and Sundown. And I think a couple other smaller makers. I bought this kind because I figured my primary uses would be loading the sawmill and cutting firewood from delivered logs. I imagine it’s not as good for brush...

    Chains (B2301) $200 Upstate NY

Oh, I see. I edited the post from 2/26 to reflect the price change. I edited again just now to show $400 (struck through) and $300 next to it, perhaps that will be more clear. Thanks for asking your neighbor, appreciate that!

$500 for Quick Attach Bucket? Buying B2601 in a few hours)

I loved the quick attach pallet forks on my B2301. I’d say we’ll worth $500.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I started like that. Careful, it can be addictive! Luckily Kubota’s make good sugaring companions.

    Dealer commitment to agreed price.

I ordered my L4701 last August. It came in a couple weeks ago (except the backhoe, still waiting for that). They honored the price and 0%/84mo. financing, both of which have changed for new orders placed today. Hope you have the same luck.

    BH92 Price for MX5200DT

Oh but to actually answer your question: I paid 7800 for backhoe, 1130 for subframe, 788 for 18” trenching bucket, and 887 for mechanical thumb. That’s $10,605 all together before tax (for mechanical thumb not hydraulic thumb). This was August 2021.

    BH92 Price for MX5200DT

FYI: expect a long wait. I ordered a BH92 with my L4701 first week of August 2021, and still no word on when it may arrive. Hope they’ve sorted some things and your wait will be shorter!

First Tractor - Trying to Get Information on 2022 Supply Chain

An anecdote, not sure if it’s useful: I ordered an L4701 beginning of August 2021, dealer said hopefully October maybe November for delivery. No update in October, Nov., Dec., Jan… at six months (2/11/22) I emailed again and was told it was scheduled for delivery, so expect two to three weeks...

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

Felt vicarious commiseration reading this thread while waiting for the L4701 I ordered the first week of August. It’s finally scheduled for delivery Saturday, sans backhoe and snow pusher. No word on when the hoe will be in. Luckily I’ve had my trusty B2301 to move snow.

    B2601 regrets?

Hah, I just realized after reading your post that Dec 2020 wasn’t like a few weeks ago. That was 21!

    B2601 regrets?

I’ve had a B2301 (loader, back blade, snow pusher, pallet forks, loaded tires, chains) for a few years. I live on 25 acres on top of a hill. While I don’t exactly regret buying the machine, I have ordered a larger one (L4701 with loader and backhoe). If the trade in wasn’t so high I probably...
