Looking to buy a new or used L3902 0r 3901 opinions?

I had a similar experience to others when shopping last year in NY. Used prices were high (and availability low) so I ordered new. At the time I got 0% for 84 months with $0 down. Can’t beat that with a stick. Only downside is the wait time. I’d also go for the 3302, because it has brake pedals...

    JDQA snow pusher on BX23s

I had a five foot snowpusher on my B2301 and loved it. With a gravel driveway, I found it difficult to get just the right angle to the bucket to get snow off and not dig up the gravel. I also didn’t like the fact that I needed to constantly dump the bucket and find the right angle to the bucket...

    Everything is SOLD.

    Hills

I had a B2301 hat with R4s. I found it unbearable in snow on any incline, and not great in wet conditions either. Chains helped a whole lot.

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

I don’t, I was in a lucky situation to have a tractor I was waiting to trade in when the new one came. So I just found the best price of the three dealers in my area and waited. Good luck!

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

Wow. I ordered mine last August. Took six month to get the tractor with loader. Then another four to get the hoe.

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

If I were in your shoes, I’d call other dealers within a few hour radius. Without getting my hopes up. Then I’d just wait. Impatiently. Hah. Used tractors cost way too much in my opinion. You could look at different brands, of course. But I wouldn’t want to have to live with an inferior...

Tractor for 10 NY acres of flat, clay soil and wetland forest?

If I were buying a smaller machine again I’d try R14s. The chains were very easy to take off. Not so bad to put on. A little annoying but hey it’s only once a year. Took half an hour or so maybe. I kept my walk behind snow blower when I got my B2301. But then realized we stopped using it when...

Tractor for 10 NY acres of flat, clay soil and wetland forest?

I live in eastern NY, on the Rensselaer Plateau, with over 100” snow per year (on average). I moved snow very well with my B2301, a snow pusher, rear blade, and chains on R4s (was useless without chains). I never wanted for a snowblower, personally. I have a bigger tractor now, but the B was a...

    New property - SWPA

This forum (like every other I frequent) is full of enablers pushing bigger better more expensive toys. Hah. I’ll share my experience. I have 25 mostly wooded acres in NY. We got a B2301 and were pretty happy with it, but recently upgraded to an L4701. Downsides of the B: it sucked in snow...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I cheaped out on the hydraulic thumb and just got a manual thumb. Helped me justify buying a grapple. But very first use I was annoyed haha. Tell me more about this, did you do it yourself?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

My backhoe attachment arrived a few weeks ago, which was just a few days after my ankle surgery. I’ve been looking out the window at it. Finally crawled up there and gave it a whirl today. I’m very pleased. And definitely have some learning to do.

Wow still waiting for the loader, that’s a bummer. I hope it arrives soon!

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

That’s not cool they didn’t honor the price/financing. Glad you wound up finding a good machine!

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

Warm weather (or a heat gun, go easy or you melt it), hopefully just pull. If pulling doesn’t work well, try a plastic scraper like this. If that leaves residue try one of these in a cordless drill. When that’s all over, use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel. My experience with the tractor is...

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

I peeled a lot of stickers off. I just don’t like my belongings covered with words, I feel like a billboard. Here’s my truck, for example. I took the “Silverado” and “Z71” and “LTE” and the dealer stickers off.

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

Ordered my L4701 first week of August 2021. Machine with loader and back blade came end of February. Backhoe and snow pusher arrived home today. They honored the price, financing, and trade-in. Wait sucked, but the dealer (Emerich in NYS) was great.

Are pallet forks for a BX2680 even worth it?

I wouldn’t typically make a blanket “you should get suchandsuch” statement without knowing a lot of details about someone’s needs. However, I agree with the general sentiment around here that forks are so handy every tractor owner (with a FEL) should have them. I used them all the time on my b...
