    PFL1242 vs. PFL2042 for a Kubota L2501 Tractor

I haven’t had mine that long, but I have the PFL1242 forks. From what I’ve been able to determine from youtube videos, the max rating isn’t a true maximum and the forks will hold a bit more. That being said, even the lighter weight forks weigh 220 lbs which would put you at 1480 maximum or...

    Woke OTT deletes deletion thread?

It seems some of you didn’t read or didn’t understand the rules. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/help/terms/ I don’t find it a big sacrifice to only talk tractors here.

L2501 - Hydraulic powered skid steer quick attach

Sounds cool. I don’t switch many times in a day, so it would be basically almost unused for me.

In a normal time, you might need pentence. As it is, we are just lucky to buy almost any quality tractor attachments.

I checked today and mine was 2350 sitting still.

    L2501 HST RPM?

Except the diesel perf guy who posted here said the L2501 had a lot of reserve HP. I really don’t have any reason to need more HP, but that’s what he implied. Probably is you have to void your warranty, and I just bought my tractor that has almost completed the circuit of everything I bought...

A PCP is really nice, but kind of a pain to fill up the tank.

    Torque Wrench Necessary?

I bought a Husky brand at Home Depot for around $80 that goes from 50-250 ft lbs. It’s got a collar to depress to rotate to desired value. Release and it locks. It’s got to be the easiest most fool proof torque wrench I’ve ever used. I didn’t realize it had that, but it was high rated.

    Torque Wrench Necessary?

The way I heard it explained, tractors vibrate more than most vehicles. That means the tires have to be checked fairly often. A torque wrench is a good way to make sure your nuts are tight, but not too tight. Also, in my area, you can borrow a torque wrench from auto parts places. Maybe yours...

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

Just an update, I get my Land Pride grader/scraper that I was talking about tomorrow. So, yea!

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

No, but it will likely be 14 weeks before I get my grader scraper and quick hitch. Fwiw, I was prepared to pay for it up front and wait months to ensure I could get a tractor this year. The supply issues really are that bad from all I’m hearing.

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

I paid for my tractor in full before they delivered it. I didn’t think that was strange.

    L3010 r1 to r4 tires

One other thing is that you might consider R14s. They supposedly make them for both R1 and R4 rims. That would save you the cost of new rims and still give the same offset.

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

I think the dealer situation is different. However, most in demand items are selling as fast as they are built. I paid for my Land Pride Grader Scraper and Quick Hitch in the beginning of Feb. They still aren’t hear yet, but I know that I’ll have my name on them.

    Any L3301 Recommendations?

I agree that if you are going to deal with DPFs, buy a L3901 at least. Better would be a Grand L limited.
