    Flail mowers.

I have a medium duty mower. I really only use it twice/year for about a day at a time. It serves its purpose and the price at that time was a VERY good deal. If I needed to use one more frequently, I'd probably look at another brand.

    Sometimes I'm Not Very Smart

I sure hope that you got a good one...I think that we both have the same stove. I'm on my 3rd distribution fan. The last one was ordered as a fan pair (combustion and distribution fan). I'm not real thrilled with the results of the blower but now I have a new combustion fan on my shelf as well...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleanup of all the broken limbs/sticks when the trees came down yesterday and exploded. I used the landscape rake on the mess. Easy-peasy. Lit the pile up and threw on some stumps for good measure...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well, since I'm no longer digging for the plumbing company (company sold) I need to find some other "work" for the machines. :( Took off early this afternoon and started on my long overdue range renovation. My backstop logs were pretty shot up and punky so, I need to find some more logs. No...

The LX just has better ground clearance than the B (and actually, I think it's even better than the small frame L's) even with the shorter rubber. You should be able to find it in the machine specs. I don't have the oversized tires on mine, just the standard. My tractor just makes it under my...

    Fair Prices

I feel your pain. Just last week, we took my wife's "Little Sister" (Big Brothers, Big Sisters) to a local fair. $24 -Admission $50 - Ride Tickets (for 50 tickets. Each ride was between 3-5 tickets per person) $15 - Two games to win a stuffed animal $7- One waffle Ice cream sandwich $6 - one...

    New Kubota or Kioti

I looked at them years ago when we had a nearby dealer (they're gone now). The show stopper for me was the backhoe mount. It was mounted to a very long set of frame rails that slid into frame pockets on the tractor. So, when the hoe was not on the tractor, it took up a large section of floor...

Woods work? Yes. The LX has better ground clearance and will lift more than the B. Not sure if it would matter for the wood chipper but despite having the same net horsepower, the LX will make it at lower rpm with greater torque. Get the LX (and some wheel spacers). Get the dealer to swap out...

    New Kubota or Kioti

here's my favorite set up... That would be a Kioti loader control knob on a Kubota tractor. That combination simply can't be beat. ;)

    Trailer for Transporting B2650

maybe this will help... B2650 on a 16 ft (7K) landscape trailer. Not much room to spare. Hoe turned sideways to get gates closed. same tractor with landscape rake on a 10K 20 footer...it uses the whole trailer. 20 footer with the hoe on... Moral of the story, get a trailer bigger than...

    OK smart guys

I used to store mine this way...simple hook on the wall and chain it up. The weight of the deck is still on the rollers but the chain keeps it from falling over.

    Estimate to do backyard

Ok. Got it. General rule of thumb (was)...double the material costs. So, yes, they are in the ballpark when you add in seed/fert and hopefully straw. Do you really need them to power rake first if they are covering with topsoil? I wouldn't bother. They'll likely be using the harley rake to...

    Estimate to do backyard

Dusty, Not sure what it is that you are questioning. The soil calculation of 75 yards is correct based on the square footage and depth. The cost of which seems very reasonable at @ $33/yard delivered assuming its screened topsoil. You're talking about 4 triaxle loads... My question would be...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

...more ditching since it's been so dry here lately. I should've put some drain tile in this summer since the excavation work has dried up as well. I don't know if people are on vacation or if their disposable funds are no longer, my phone hasn't been ringing for excavation work. I suppose...
