    Traveller (TSC) 80W-90 gear oil

Incorrect. I never let it run dry. I had to replace bevel gear parts and seals due to wear. After doing so, the NEW seals leaked with UDT fluid in the axle. I dumped that fluid and replaced it with gear oil...no more leaks. Edit: Maybe the leaks were due to cold weather "shrinkage" of the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Saturday, I delivered 3 dump truck loads of free firewood to a neighbor that could use it. I'll tell you that the U-27 makes for a great (albeit, expensive) log mover. :D

    Traveller (TSC) 80W-90 gear oil

maybe you didn't read what I wrote. I replaced the front seals in my BX because the Who said anything about GL-1? The OP asked about TSC traveller which has a GL-5 rating. I'm not disputing your claims, but the traveller brand is perfectly fine. I can tell you for certainty, that I did...

They were worn... had considerable slop in them.

    Traveller (TSC) 80W-90 gear oil

Yep. IMO. I had front axle leaks in my BX. Replaced seals and added UDT or SUDT-2 (can't remember which) and I still had weeping. Drained them and replaced with gear oil. No more weeping. So Yes, that's how I roll. I'm not sure what you're implying about the rear? I wouldn't suggest to anyone...

    Traveller (TSC) 80W-90 gear oil

That's what I used in mine yesterday. IMO, SUDT-2 is too thin for a front axle. Glad that I had enough on hand. Seemed like the front axle took more that what the book claimed. Yes, it smelled like gear oil to me...but, I didn't bother to taste it cause I really wasn't all that hungry. ;)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I don't know. The parts themselves were salty enough.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

since the weather wasn't good to be outside Sunday, I decided to knock out my 800hr service. It was drama free. Dropped the front axle fluid since I planned on replacing both outer tie rod ends as well. a quick front end alignment and all is well.

    Hunting and game posts

I don't know for certain but I believe he mentioned it being in the 5K range...guided/horseback/spike camp...maybe they charged more for the grizz encounter? This was his 5th attempt for a bull elk.

    Hunting and game posts

My dad sent this to me yesterday. Last day of his hunt in WY he took a 5x5 at 60 yards (.300 wm) As the guides were working on the animal a grizz came within 20 yards. Guide fired a shot to send it on it's way. The bear stopped and turned around again at 40 yards. Second guide sent another...

    Winter Prep Already?!?!

X2 on the surge suppressor. I have one here as well since I'm the very last house on the line. While I don't wish to jinx myself, I haven't needed to replace the board in the stove. The stove was here when we bought the place 8 years ago. I don't recall when the original owner bought it...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The weekend started off well on Saturday evening. Cleared some atv "trails" thru the no-mans land swamp area of my property for my wife's "Lil Sister" to ride around on. Sunday, whacked 3 more dead trees. Here's a dead/dying pin oak. I now have quite a bit of free firewood stacked up by the...

Random you tube find-Don't load your tractor this way!!

I use a pair of these...on one side of my trailer. They are tied together with a piece of rope. Pretty simple. They ride inside of the mini bucket strapped to the trailer so they are always ready for use. I DO NOT chock the wheels of the tow vehicle...if you ever have to uncouple the trailer...

Attn. HVAC pros..........Is someone "blowing sunshine up my skirt"?

Type K is also required (here at least) for all underground water service (municipal water supply). Additionally, all fittings must be mechanical (no soldering) for underground portion. Those rolls of 3/4" K-type are pretty heavy. The OD is the same. It's the wall thickness that is different...

Blue tooth ear buds. Which are best over all for noise reduction, music, and noise cancelling.

I use Beats Flex. They sound good and have pretty decent range. Edit: they don't have noise cancelling.

    My first tractor…?

I'm in much the same boat. My acreage is a little more but about the same in "grass-like" substance. My road name is actually "swamp road". So, that ought to tell you what I deal with. When I was looking to replace my 12 Y/O BX23, I opted for the B2650. That's the large frame B which has been...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Range backstop repair complete. Unfortunately, it was wetter back there than I had hoped. I'll need to do some grass cleanup. The backstop face logs lasted about 7 years. They got pounded pretty hard and were starting to rot. Start: Done...need to fasten some chain to hang my targets
