    LED bulbs

I have an L3800 also and changed to led headlamps. One of my lenses was cracked so I changed that at the same time. It wasn't pleasant doing it. The lights are great and draw a fraction of the originals. The positive I took away from doing it? I bought some new tools (like ratcheting box wrench...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Just picked it up. Welds look good (but what do I know? That's why I brought it to someone who does know). Just clears top trim of garage door by 1/4" - actually bends back the weather stripping :) Now i have to take it off, light sand it and paint it.

lol Lugbolt :) That old saying, "Success is that intersection where preparation crosses opportunity" (pretty close sentiment anyway) is never more true than in photography. That shot was probably taken about 6 in the am.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Today I committed blasphemy. I took the top half of the ROPS over to my friend's business. One of his guys cut it down today. Tomorrow he will weld it back together.

    Shingles

I was concerned about your post so went to the CDC's site and found this: Some people who are vaccinated against chickenpox get shingles (herpes zoster) years later. This is much less common after vaccination than after chickenpox disease.

Mixing my own 'windshield washer solution' to load tires

I was all set to order windshield washer solution from our local Home depot. The more I thought about it the more I didn't want to do it. If I ever have a tire come off the rim I just don't want to dump 30 gallons of it into the ground, possibly right over the aquifer. One of my neighbor's well...

In one of my long rides to the Canadian Northwest I stayed in Canmore, Alberta. It is just west of Calgary and south of Banff. In the very early morning I headed north and picked up Icefields Parkway. It's a beautiful area. As I rode by this lake I almost dropped my bike stopping as fast as I...

From 2005 - we took a 'doors off' helicopter ride over Kilauea while it was quite active. Never thought I would get my wife in that helo :) The volcano was quite active but most of the lava was flowing under a cooled 'skin' of rock. These shots are where the lava drops off into the sea. We were...

    Dewalt 20v grease gun

Since I committed to the Dewalt 20v system it was an easy decision for me to get the grease gun. I just find it easier to do a good job with it and at my age easier = good

Mixing my own 'windshield washer solution' to load tires

Well I'm convinced. Although several sites I looked at specifically mentioned isopropyl alcohol it appears not applicable for loading tires. Perhaps it is fine for washer solution in a vehicle. . . Thanks Wolfie
