What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I installed my new light bar on my (now) shortened ROPS. It is held on by magnets - super strong mothers. The side view shows one mount. Of course the 180 watt advertised rating measures out at exactly 70 watts. That said, the sucker lights the night!

    WWII internment camps

That's an interesting post NH. If the following, quoted from The Atlantic, is true why weren't German Americans interned? I know of no similar actions by Japanese Americans. As far as I know no Americans of Japanese descent attacked Pearl Harbor. "In the years before the outbreak of World War...

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

In 2003 I rode west to Glacier National Park. By the time I got there the park was closed due to a forest fire. The next year I tried again. While hiking alone thru some of the burned out forest I came upon this sign. It was enough to make me turn back. I had seen grizzlies at a distance and...

    L4060 -Brake lights

no, this piece has split sides. One side is the flasher with a single bulb. The other is the red running light with a dual bulb - one side that is never energized unless you have a non US tractor.

    L4060 -Brake lights

Since I just changed my bulbs to LEDS I'm going to wire that second light to something. . . Maybe just in parallel with the other side of the bulb.

    L4060 -Brake lights

I just changed my bulbs yesterday to LEDS and found the same thing. Later today I am going to investigate to see if I even have a brake light switch.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got my LED 1156 and 1157 bulbs in today and swapped all the small bulbs on the tractor. Was a little disappointed to find the heads of the screws on the turn sign fixtures were really rusty. Swapped with some stainless ones I have.

Anyone using an Everything Attachments read blade? comments please

Yes, big advantage to the EA unit - just pull the appropriate pin (no retainer, just gravity) and either offset or change the blade angle.

Anyone using an Everything Attachments read blade? comments please

I have only had my EA back blade for a couple of months. I was able to use it to regrade the driveway the way I wanted it. The offset feature is a must for me (driveway drops on both sides). A couple of weeks ago we had a 10" snow storm. Again the blade worked out really well. BTW it's built...

    Fuel filter replacement frequency question

Since I have put <50 hours / year on my tractors I just made it a point to change the fuel filter every two years. I usually burn #2 home heating oil so its harder to see crud on the element (red dye). If nothing else it gives me something to do and talk to my non tractor owning friends about :)

Another Robin shot. The nest was about 8' from where I sit in my home office. The 'parents' got used to seeing me and I would slowly wave my hand at them. They (or somebody that looks like them) come back every year. Unfortunately sometimes they build their nests too high in the Rhododendron...

The old Farmington Canal has been repurposed to be a walking trail. There are some pretty long stretches done now but when it's finished it will go from New Haven up into Massachusetts. In some areas they have restored some of the old locks. This shot was taken next to the canal in Cheshire...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

One tire down, one to go. Had to run between my home office n garage 10 times to keep the bucket filled and to relieve the pressure that builds up. It's a really simple process. You remove the valve stem, attach a hose adapter and hose, connect to small pump then put it in large container. The...
