LED bulbs

I had read a article here about replacing the head light bulbs with LED bulbs.
Of course I couldn't find it again. But the bulbs come from FeeBay.
I didn't look in the owners manuel on how to change them as it was handy to access. After looking at the bulb housing and trying to twist a little I finally googled then Utubed it.
Sure enough a L3800 video changing the bulbs. And the guy finally pulled the entire housing out then removed the bulb and put in the LED.
Thank God for Utube. No way possible for me to change the bulb in place. I an't that flexable.

You will love the LEDs. I did them all around on my LX2610 and don't regret a thing.

I have an L3800 also and changed to led headlamps. One of my lenses was cracked so I changed that at the same time. It wasn't pleasant doing it. The lights are great and draw a fraction of the originals.

The positive I took away from doing it? I bought some new tools (like ratcheting box wrench sets)

I changed out every bulb on my B2650 to LED's. I found LED replacements thru Google or Ebay. If you take out a bulb and see it's an 1157 (for instance) just type in "LED replacement for 1157 bulb" and you'll see a lot of possibilities for each type of bulb you're looking for. Such as different amount of lumen output, different color wavelength, etc.

I did the same thing bird dogger did only it was all eBay. Get the bulb # and cross it with LED's
