Offset Flail Mower Recommendation for L3800???

To get 'serious' offset I think you are going to need a serious tractor. My L3800 with the hydraulic offset Woodmax FM-62H. Not so nice and shiny anymore :) I have 3" spacers and I can still feel the change when I offset it all the way. Yes I wish it had more offset but I don't think my...

    Not complaining, but wow, snow

lmao! Several years ago my son & I rode out your way to go to GNP. I believe it was early June, iirc. Going To The Sun Road was still closed - the snow hadn't been cleared yet from parts of it.

    Wheel Spacers…need source advice

4 years ago I added 3" Bro Tek spacers to my tractor. If nothing else it makes me feel more secure crossing grades. I have never had direct contact with anyone who had a problem attributable to spacers. btw the spacers you get in are going to look like a piece of art.

I think I've made my retirement decision....

:) I have been working from home for years now. These next two weeks are going to be a 'farewell tour' of sorts. The company has 16 branches. I have very good relationships with all the branch managers. I'm going to try to visit as many as I can. They wanted to give me a retirement party but I...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks but I can't take credit for this side of the house. The po had a really nice lawn here. The other side, not so much. Last fall I ripped it all up with the box blade, brought in top soil, limestone and fertilizer and reseeded it. Its growing even faster than this one :(

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

2nd round with the flail mower on the lawn today. Definitely learned a bit from my first try. With all the rain we have been getting the lawn was totally out of control - some of it was 12" high. I really couldn't run the tractor on it until it was pretty dry. Today was the day. Left a lot less...

    Tesla I Ain’t…

I think we are just missing each other here Geo. I interpreted your comment, " The more pressure in a pipe….the need for stronger pipe with thicker walls .…. Wire Guage " as an analogy of water to electricity. With that analogy the pressure in a pipe for water would be voltage for electricity...

    Tesla I Ain’t…

Try this simple test Find another known good source to plug that plug into - like your car if it has a socket. If it works then the problem is in your tractor side. If it still doesn't then its in the sprayer. @GeoHorn Not sure I would agree with this: The more pressure in a pipe….the need...

    Tesla I Ain’t…

I think I would want to know what the voltage reading is at that plug while you were operating the sprayer. It also seems odd that the fuse supplied is so small compared to the max current draw of the motor. Have you tried connecting the sprayer wiring directly to the battery? That alone would...

Just curious why you didn't go with something like Giant Thujas? They grow feet/year and make great visual fences.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

My 1st try cutting the grass with the flail mower. Let's just say it was a learning experience :) It has been raining a lot this spring and the area of the lawn that I replanted last year is growing like hell. I cut it on the weekend about 10 days ago and we were away until yesterday. OMG it's...
