Documents that come with new BX2380?

I found the shop manual for the BXxx70 series and downloaded it. Haven't found recommendations here for fluids, grease, etc. but I'll keep looking. Thanks.

Documents that come with new BX2380?

Am I going to get everything I need with the machine to tell me what/when I need to do service/maintenance? Any extra documentation I should get right off the bat or shortly after receiving the machine? Before arrival I'd like to have the correct grease for the gun if something special is...

    Post hole auger size?

Hey, no problem. I appreciate the information and that last sentence of yours is the key. As long as someone understands the equipment and is patient they can get some very large jobs done with some very modest equipment but it has to be the right equipment. A sub-compact tractor should hold...

    Box blade for BX2380?

I will still use my Ford 3000 for the heavier stuff. It weighs in at around 3,500 or 3,750 pounds and has agricultural tires. Not good for the lawn. The Bobcat 751 skid steer is almost 5,000 pounds if I remember correctly and I try to use it only in the hay fields and around the timber. I...

    Post hole auger size?

I'm just doing my homework before I lay down cash for one but I must admit that after owning a Ford 3000 for 10 years the claims for what the BX2380 amaze me almost, but not quite, to disbelief. But I also know that 10 acre tobacco farms were farmed with very small tractors with engines of less...

    Post hole auger size?

What would you consider to be the maximum size auger, practically speaking, for a BX2380? I will probably need a 6" hole to put in posts and to plant small trees in a field. I hope it will handle at least that size. What's your experience?

    Rototiller for BX2380?

Yep, I'm in the same situation. Still making certain it will do what I want. I have a Ford 3000 that may work with a tiller but it's 3,500 pounds or so and maybe closer to 4,000 pounds with the tiller. It also has 8 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. The lowest gear might handle a tiller but...

    Rototiller for BX2380?

Can the BX2380 handle a rototiller? Do they make tiller's small enough for it? I know a tiller can be fairly demanding on a tractor.

    Tips on removing 3-Pt attachments

I've had my Ford 3000 for about 11 years now. I hesitate to switch implements at times. It's always a challenge but also it's always do-able. I get 'er done but that pry bar idea from Tractor Mike will certainly help. Right now I need to take off my rotary mower and hook up my sickle bar...

    Tips on removing 3-Pt attachments

Quick hitch is not the silver bullet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TPOWlzUeV0 I can't find Tractor Mike's video on it at the moment but several of you have hit on an excellent way to help out when hooking up 3-point implements: a lever. Mike was amazed he hadn't known about them before...

    3-point hitch categories: 1 vs. 1N?

Yeah, I'll poke around a bit but I've never heard of a category 1N or N1 or whatever. As long as my future tractor has a category 1 and I get the correct implements I'll be happy. Thanks for the reply!

    3-point hitch categories: 1 vs. 1N?

What category of 3-point hitch does the BX2380 use? I thought it was a category 1. I'm seeing references to a 1N. Is that a Narrow version of a 1? If not, what does the N mean?

Anyone have this BX grill guard?

According to the manufacturer it's not in the way (it's below the hood) when you raise the hood so it doesn't need to tilt. Looks like a good sturdy product.
