Went to check the price .....seems the site to link paypal and the price is messed up.
I do NOT like the "new" grill guard on the new BX23s.....then again, I am too quick to judge - THE old ones on the BX series were nice.
Curious as to the price of the Ballard one.

Not a fan of the new BX grill guards, either. I can think of several ways it could have been done better. As far as the one in the OP, I don't like it, either. It's not going to tilt out of the way when you raise the hood.
It seems pretty flimsy compared to the Kubota one that i bought about 4 yrs. ago, and what good is the chain hook in that position. I guess it's better than nothing if the price is right.
According to the manufacturer it's not in the way (it's below the hood) when you raise the hood so it doesn't need to tilt.
Looks like a good sturdy product.
Guess I need to be more specific. It won't work with my 2380. It would've worked with my 2370, but I was fine with the grill guard on the 2370.
Someone makes/made a tilt grille guard that had pins to hold it in place (like the ROPS). Tilted, it permitted removal of the entire hood and surrounds for complete engine access. The 'fixed' guards must be removed to do this, which sux.
I have a receiver and a hook on the front of my BX. I've used to hook to drag things and I've used to to pull the tractor out of the mud when stuck. It is useful.

Then I think you should buy it and let us know how you like it, but I can tell you the one pictured in the OP will not work with a 2380.
So you have tried one on both your BX2370 and your BX2380?

As I said, the one pictured in the OP won't work on a 2380. The hood on the 2370 and the 2380 are different. You may want to consider the one from Earth and Turf.
