Rototiller for BX2380?

I have a 42" tiller that has been run behind a JD2210 and a BX2370 with no problems. Problems arise with one that is too wide.
According to the descriptions over at Everything Attachments, the 48" tillers require 15-30 PTO HP. Just don't go too big.
I haven't bought my BX yet, so this is just from my research. I certainly hope it works fine since that's one of the uses I have for a tractor.

Yep, I'm in the same situation. Still making certain it will do what I want.
I have a Ford 3000 that may work with a tiller but it's 3,500 pounds or so and maybe closer to 4,000 pounds with the tiller. It also has 8 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. The lowest gear might handle a tiller but the engine has to run at 1,800 rpm's to get the standard 540 rpm's out of the PTO. Anyway, it's too heavy for the garden, IMHO.
Tillers require a very, very slow moving tractor with enough power to run the tiller too. Many, if not most, tractors can't use a tiller properly because they won't travel slowly enough with a high enough PTO rpm (540 rpm).

I know I've seen a lot of YouTube videos from the guys at Everything Attachments tilling their clay soil with sub-compact tractors. I think one of them is a BX. Might want to take a look
Taylor way, land ride, King Kutter, and others all make 48 inch tillers perfect for a BX. I have a 48-inch Taylor way and it does a superb job. I pimp myself out in the spring tilling Gardens
The only time I've ever come close to running out of power or actually working the engine running a 48 inch tiller was tilling pasture ground that had not been tilled or disked or plowed in 20 some years

The little L175, the Woods tiller, and the Woods finish mower my old man bought in the mid 70s is still going strong today. My nephew has them. So yeah, the 2380 can handle a tiller.
I have a Farm King 48" tiller I use behind my BX2370 and my previous BX2200. Both have plenty of power to handle it with ease.

I have used these tillers on my BX2200. The red one was a lot heavier. I had to leave the FEL on for front end ballast.
Whoa, no ballast in the FEL?
What model is the Land Pride?

Im not sure what model landpride. I just rented it and requested one for a BX.
In both cases the front end was kinda light and didn’t steer great with the tiller on, but not terrible either.
Without the FEL on I have a feeling the red one would have been unusable.
