What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

@Old_Paint : Disclaimer: I've only used gas industrial chippers before my WoodMaxx. My USA-made WoodMaxx deflector is similarly short and doesn't turn down, it throws fast and far (to the point I'm going to make a long, curved chute). With a fast, heavy (I believe direct-drive) wheel loaded...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished up the T&T and 3rd Fn hydraulics, then mowed the lawn. Electronics for the 3rd Fn will have to wait until I get the fuse block installed. As a note, the long hose in theory would go to the rear hydraulic block, the short hose to the pipe, but my hose situation didn't work that way and...

Proof that God exists......Miracles do happen.

When seeing the title I immediately looked at the poster and knew it would be a good story. Glad you're doing well, and it's a reminder for all of us to keep our work areas highly organized.

I'd replace the pipe. Welding thin stuff sucks, and if one area of the pipe is thin another area is likely thin. Sure, it could be just that one pin-hole, but you have to pull the line to weld it anyway because heating steel to 2,220°F with a layer of hydraulic oil inside it is (from personal...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I was planning on using colored plastic zip-ties on each pair (after reading comments here on not spending a lot of coin on custom solutions), but since I'm new to hydraulics (and there's a lot to understanding them) it seems best to ask first. :D

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

This is maybe a bit different from what you and @Old_Paint are saying, so I'll ask before getting myself in an unforeseen situation on my part: As I'm adding a third-function on the FEL it would be wise to switch the Male-Male fittings that came in the kit to Male-Female? Similarly with the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I thought the point of putting the Male connectors on the pump side is they're easier to clean than female, so when left unused/unconnected if a cap pops off and the quick-connector gets dirty it's easy to wipe clean. The Female connectors on the implement are either capped and in a fairly...

    WoodMaxx Order Concerns/Considerations

UPDATE: WoodMaxx reached out saying the shipment is in the U.S. on a rail car headed to Buffalo, New York, and would start shipping 08/05/2024. If they take two weeks to ship it and it takes two weeks to get here that's 09/05/2024, so order to delivery time is somewhere in the range of 3.5 to 4...

Can you lower the bucket and wind up scooping the stuff instead of running it over? I have a flail mower ordered and would like to not run over stuffs.

    Grease fitting

Is that the movie where women decide to dress nice and make home-cooked meals, and nobody had to ask, "Where have all the good men gone?" because they were at home with their wives?

    Grease fitting

New need: QUALITY Zerk Caps and grease fitting kit. Someone have a good link to them??? (The Kubota looks great but I'm thinking there are more fitting options so the kit is more generic and works with other stuff also, plus some hard-to-reach fittings can be replaced with non-OEM fittings.)
