For Sale: GREAT CONDITION! Kubota B7100 HST 4WD 622 running hours

Wow that's a well-kept tractor! I got mine (used) with 1/3 the hours and 1/3 the age (or so) and yours looks better!!! Sad to hear your father won't be using it, best of luck with the sale to someone who'll also appreciate it.

    Mower blades

You might be able to, but with the multiple angles on a cutter and my ginormous hands I'm not able to do so repeatably--at least not last time I tried, and maybe I was being too picky. It seems like such a simple task... Then again when it comes to picking up spilled coffee beans or rice I just...

    New Zero turn

Dixie Chopper was founded by Art Evans in Fillmore, Indiana, purchased by Jacobsen/Textron in 2014, and went out of business in 2018. The Alamo Group (an "investment company") bought the assets and under the Dixie Chopper name started assembling generic Chinese kits in their Gibson City...

    Mower blades

I personally (unintentionally) sharpen LH cutters differently than RH cutters since I'm not ambidextrous and have to be careful of that when free-hand filing in the field. In the shop I have Granberg jigs set up* so filing is even and precise, and unless a chain hits a rock or nail it's as fast...

    What to get the wife?

You are both a nice guy and a gentleman. May I suggest you get a dog instead of a woman so you have a companion that both appreciates you and stays with you for life.

    Mower blades

That's a good price. I put wayyyy too much into a chainsaw chain hand-filing setup, wayyy too much. But then again I couldn't get what I wanted, so I bought the tools to make it happen and proceeded to screw the pooch the first few times, but kept at it and in the end it paid off (not in the...

    What to get the wife?

I gave my wife a divorce, the gift that keeps on giving. 😂

    Mower blades

Kubota and Honda replacement blades are worth sharpening to me, so I sharpen them. Same with chainsaw chain. If I were running cheap equipment I'd buy cheap replacement blades and not bother salvaging them, but I like reliability. Buy quality, buy once. (Equipment I used is listed on my profile.)

Educate me on how to pick a grapple

He put the lid against a tree and straightened it, then continued using it. Chances are the tubes on a homeowner grapple are mild steel and can be bent back without cracking welds assuming the correct welding wire was used, and there's no reason a U.S. manufacturer...oh. wait... As...

Educate me on how to pick a grapple

I found the hydraulic pressure gauge Neil was using in the video, I'd like to put a 1/4" female Pioneer coupling to a tee to a male Pioneer coupling, with the gauge plumbed into the center of the tee with a male quick-connect, essentially allowing me to take live readings with hold on my BX2370...

    Real (stupid) oil question

The warranty comes into effect if failure occurs "because Shell Rotella® heavy duty diesel engine oil failed to provide proper lubrication." Under the conditions: "3. SOPUS Products requires you to change your vehicle's oil and oil filter at least as often as recommended by the vehicle...

    3pt PTO forestery mulchers

@Alfred_2345 : Wouldn't the round hammers be subject to side shear force and fracture, unlike normal flail mower hammers?

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

Congratulations, that's a fun purchase. As a note, ground water content throughout different seasons can affect the grounding and therefore the arc, so you might "tweak" your setup throughout the year for consistent results. Also watch your consumables, they go from "kind of crappy cut" to...

    R-4 and R-14 tractor tires

I have a set of R4 for a BX and they work great, not slipping (much) yet not tearing up the soft woods. Ag tires would likely be too aggressive for most of what I do (landscaping). R4 will start to ruin a lawn after a few passes (depending how wet it is and how compacted the lawn is), so I also...

    Sprayer using ballast box

I put the sand from the weight box in empty softener salt bags because the bags can hold the weight, are easy to move around (if around half full), and store neatly. They also load back in the bucket quickly and easily. On top the sand I load rock salt bags because a.) it's less sand to store...

    Sprayer using ballast box

I like the idea also--I cleaned out the ballast box after getting it (so it's easier to move around by hand given how hard it is to get on/off a stock BX) and now that I have "stuff" to carry on the back of the tractor the box is a bit less useful...until your idea! That's awesome!!! I hope the...

    WoodMaxx Order Concerns/Considerations

UPDATE: WoodMaxx Flail Mower Arrived 05/15/2024: Order for a bunch of stuff placed. 05/31: A bunch of stuff delivered, excepting the flail mower. For the record, the shipping documentation they sent me after the order was placed states only: "All machines will leave our facility within 10-15...

Pat's quick hitch on BX tractors

The angle seems to be related to how the three point hitch works; I think that's why there's a ball pivot.

Bought my BX2370 used with a short in the turn signal system. Found it.
