Can't remove propshaft from gearhead on rotary cutter.....ideas?

I'd suggest removing the "U" joint ( it's probably time for both to be replaced) polish the shaft between the yoke and gear box and drive the yoke rearward, there's got to be some type of retainer to restrict the shaft from coming off in the event of a shear pin failure. I certainly would...

How damaged is the existing connector, picture please? Any guess how it got damaged, did the wires burn, did something get in there and ripped it out? Sounds like you need at a minimum, the flasher relay, perhaps purchase it and see if it'll will plug in and operate. Some tape around the...

Transportation trailer recommendations for a B6000D

I'd be totally surprised if your father is the rarest type of tractor owner and didn't have at least one implement, will you be needing to haul any additional equipment? If you elect to purchase, then consider what other trailer features/ uses you may need in the future once you get it home...

    Bird feeders

Ther may be some truth to what they say. I believe any feeders should be cleaned regularly to ensure mold, mildew and whatever gets brought in by birds, squirrels etc. is removed

    Cylinder Liners

Why would new cylinder liners need to be .040 over? Most liner kits come with the correct piston. I think .040 is a lot to take off any cylinder.

B7000 starts, runs for a few seconds then stops

It's good that the glow plugs were within tolerence, are you certain that you're applying a full 12 volts when called upon?

B7000 starts, runs for a few seconds then stops

All of the gunk came from the fuel tank, I'd recommend removing the contents and see what's in the bottom, clean accordingly, also consider installing a prefilter until every thing is cleaned up. Ensure that the pump components are in good condition. Bleed the injectors from the top of the...

B7000 starts, runs for a few seconds then stops

You didn't say if this happens every time you go to start it. Are you running good clean fuel? Did you properly bleed the the injectors after changing the filter, were you getting good fuel when bleeding. Does the tractor have glow plugs and if so are they functioning properly?

    Trans Fluid Filters Change

I'm confused on the crimped wires, what do you wire brush in the hydrualic system? You might consider changing just the filter say in 50 -60 hours and topping the fluid off to see if you're still getting metal pieces.

How to check tire pressure with liquid filled tires

Milton makes a tractor tire guage for liquid filled tires. The problem is it doesn' stay out when pressure is applied, you've got to hold it on the stem while reading, but it's better then ruining regular gages.

    Gooseneck vs Bumper Pull

Gooseneck is the way to go, however that's the part that connects to the truck, from the hitch back is where it gets involved length, capacity, ramps, tilt, rails, etc. needs to be given a lot of thought.

Looking to Fab a Replacement Hood for a L2500DT

Must be a good side story on how the hood and side panels came up missing. Hopefully you got it for a good price and is good shape mechanical. Hours? I'd suggest changing all fluid, filters, belt, grease accordinily, and getting any small components to ensure it's mechanical sound. I agree...

Ended drawbar rotation on a BX

What you haveworks. You couyld consider bolting a piece of flat bar, bar stock, or chunk of lead to the bottom side of your draw bar, as long as it's heaver than the hitch ball, it'll act like a keel.

    Starting procedure RPM

35-40 degrees isn't that cold. I believe two hours of block heating doesn't do much. Does your model allow you to entergize the glow plugs, prior to starting? I'd check the glow plugs. When you open the throttle to start you're putting excessive fuel into the cylinders which isn't good.

    Are these wheels salvageable?

I'd consider removing the tires, sandblast the rims, use some neutralizer, paint with a good implement paint and as Wolfman says install tubes.

    need advice on ditch project.

Running a 100 of culvert doesn't matter however the area above the culvert does, I'd cut in a basin midway, to give that area a place to go to. Rare events will become more of the norm. Pending you long term plans consider pricing a surveyor and a civil engineer (if it's a dollar you'd do it, if...

    need advice on ditch project.

The pictures only show so much. I'd suggest laying out a grid of the entire area along with elevations, determine where the water is to go. You may need to install properly sized culverts, head walls, catch basins, swales, rip-rap, fill, etc. I strongly recommend looking wholistically as opposed...
