I have friends and a cousin that was affected by that Western Electric layoff. There was a lot to be said about the way it was back then. ;) There is no smile in the telephone industry now. :confused: I have a Son that is now facing this latest AT&T layoff, and by the way, today's AT&T has...

Oh wow; Frameman 1 year, Cable Splicer 6 years, IR 2 years, PBX IR 3 years, then management for 20 years. After (forced) retirement; Carpenter/cabinet shop 8 years, & now sawmilling 18 years.

Sooo we have something else in common eh? Southern Bell (1962) until the split (1983), then BellSouth until I was "downsized" in 1994.

Not sure how your tractor is "plumbed" but the same issue with my old John Deere was caused by the primer (lift) pump. Hole/crack in the diaphragm.

I can relate to that too. :) I took a fairly serious fall this past Saturday while we were clearing trees/limbs from a road on my farm property. I know that I will quit hurting when the pain goes away. :rolleyes:

So many victims left to grieve and ask why. :confused: One can wipe tears from their eyes, but they can not wipe the hurt from their heart.

Bring it on. I'm lame but I ain't lazy, cripple but I ain't crazy. ;)
