    Garage setup

Don't know what your doing about interior walls, but I framed up the interior, spray foamed the walls, sheeted with OSB, than added 42" of tin around the bottom, for grinding, welding, bumps and abrasion protection, than put a 2"x12" shelf all around the wall. It's very convenient for setting...

    Garage setup

Run 220 to at least 3 locations. One for air compressor, a welder, maybe a lift? Possibly think of if you added a lean too later, have an extra box where you can get to power to extend for lights etc. Always run more than you think you need

Buying a dump trailer- how to protect the bed from manure?

Back when I was working in the body shop, we did a lot of truck frames with Ditzler 9000 paint. It's a thick urethane paint, mixed with a catalyst Gardner, almost rubberized thick, shiny and thick. I don't know if they even still make it, but an industrial truck coating should help.

    The Perfect Trailer size ??

Definitely go with a bit bigger than you need. A 16'-20' bumper pull with Ramps and brakes will do so much more than only tow your Kubota.

    Using Kubota Spray Paint

As an alternate paint source, I go to the local Tractor store ( North 40 in the PNW) and use Van Sickle industrial Tractor paint. The Kubota color match is great, although it does need to cure overnight.

    Show me your Refueling Setup

So do you guys get someone to come out to your ranch and fill those large tanks? I was thinking about mounting a tank of diesel and one of gasoline on a trailer, just to have it more accessible ant to keep from going to town as much, just for more fuel

    OMNI vs Heavy Hitch

This is a bit different than what you are looking at, but I use a quick hitch a lot as I switch from the land plane, cultivator rake and tow hitch. An inexpensive QH from HF ( $79.) and I picked up the A frame ($69. On amazon) with a 2" receptacle for tie balls. I also gave a 2" piece of box...

    50 hours tomorrow

It definitely won't hurt if you wait till 56 hours, or so, or when it's convenient to run to town and get the filters and oil. It really doesn't " need" an oil change, it's mainly to remove any particles from the system.

BX25 Quick Hitch- What do I want?

The problem I have seen is many implements have two bolts at the top, and the lower one is in the way of the QH hook. I've taken the second bolt out, and welded the support arms to the outside, so the top hook slides up clean and easy. My neighbors wife bought him a Beautiful land plane...

BX25 Quick Hitch- What do I want?

There are many good and great options available. I purchased an Inexpensive Harbor Freight Rear quick hitch for $79.00 I use a cultivator, 6' rake, box blade, home made land plane and A frame tow hitch all with the same QH. You can back up and attach without getting off the tractor. Many will...

    Containing Dogs

You can start with some T posts and a couple rolls of wire fencing. They make a fine mesh you can add to the bottom to keep snakes out. It can be re-sized larger or smaller easily, by moving, adding or subtracting posts. Cheap, easy, and effictive

    Home made land plane

I copied WM's land plane, after borrowing it to grade out my driveway and private road. The AR steel was half the cost of the metal, but it shows Zero wear after a couple seasons of use. The one I built is lighter than Wolfman's, and it doesn't dig too deep, but you need to play with the...

Modify Post Hole Digger For BX25?

I purchased the Land Pride unit when I got my tractor, but it's no big shake to modify another to fit a BX. Just measure the spread of the arms and make sure you have enough lift. The Auger that came with mine is fairly short, I think that might be more of an issue than bringing the arms...
