New guy and have a few questions

Depends on the composition of your soil. I have a small bucket, due to the hard rocky ground here in the mountain Forrest. Zero interest is the time to order your implements.

Trailer receiver hitch connected to BX with Landpride quick hitch

I purchased the bushings separate, but they were cheap on eBay. Measure, there are different diameter pins.

Kubota L4701 vs Mahindra 2545--which to buy

I am biased because I already have Orange. Here's something to think about . Start searching rental company's, and see what percentage they use. I would say rentals get used harder than most private ones. Search for sale ads, what percentage of their original value do they hold? Just like...

    Ground squirrels!!!

My wife feeds everything too, but yesterday she found two of the bird houses raided by the tree squirrels, and called open season on them. My fun starts today! No critter messes with the songbirds

There are many Motels along the intersecting highways in the Coeur D'Alene area from $46.99 motel 6 to absolutely gorgeous B&B's on the lake, priced accordingly. The Event is approximately 20 miles North of CDA. I would think any thing out in this area, including campgrounds may be full undue to...

    Chain saw advice

I would highly recommend a much nicer saw that the one posted, but price wise, even though they are a better value, they are a different price range. Look at the Stihl MS 261 C-M. It's as light as the little saws, but with a 20" bar and 60cc engine, it's an awesome cutting machine. I sold my two...

    Chain saw advice

Do lots of reading and reviews about each model. I know Stihl is currently advertising their little 170 on sale for $159. It's a great size for limbing and cutting up to 15" trees. Every brand makes really high $$ saws, and entry level units, just make sure the one your looking at isn't the one...

The easy way to change mower blades

I need to make a dedicated bracket to pin into the arms where the pads plug in. It's a PITA using ratchet straps on all 4, but after 30 years of hanging off phone poles, my right knee appreciates NOT getting down on the concrete.

cell phone cup holder mount on BX?

Check out Ram mounts. I use the roll bar mounts with the awesome motorcycle cell phone holder. They make a whole lot of different bases and attachment points, and I know many people that successfully use them on dirt bikes. My off road Bronco is a much wilder ride than my Kubota, and my phone...

    Second thoughts on a BH

I also use me backhoe almost as much as the loader. Spent two days just digging stumps early this spring. That two days saved me two months if you had to do it by hand!

"1st Annual OTT, PNW, BBQ and Kubota Games" 7/15/2017

I've got a mix of prizes, fairly generic that most folks would find useful, tools, fun and a couple drinkable. Figure anyone brave enough to enter the timed Kubota events, and possibly embarrass themselfs deserves something special!

All spouses, wife's, girlfriends, kids grandkids are welcome. for the younger ones We'll have yard games, and if it's warm enough water balloon toss. There's horses, goats, ducks, and chickens next door to feed and play with too...

Trailer receiver hitch connected to BX with Landpride quick hitch

I picked up one similar to the titan on Amazon for $69. On sale, free ship and no tax. I added the adapters over the lower pins, and put a perminate bolt on the top pin in place of the pin. It works great

Adventure of replacing Hydraulic Hose for LA504

I'll bet if you look around you can find a place that can make you a hose on site in a few minutes. I know the Caterpillar dealer just down the road has everything in stock and advertises on their sign out front. That's better than going to Kubota and waiting a couple days for one to get shipped.

    General Observations

Add an EZ Lift hitch and it will tow much better and won't be anywhere near as critical where you are on the trailer.

    Light bar

Just keep it simple, and start with a temporary mount as you may wish to change the location. I put mine under the ROPS as I have a lot of trees and low hanging branches. I just wrapped the bar with electrical tape and hose clamped to it so it doesn't move. [/ATTACH]
