    Mechanical Self Leveling Forks ?

They are called load levelers. Or a load leveling kit. I love mine. They are great. It took some getting use to but I would definitely buy them again. they say the LX are mechanical but there is also hydraulics to them. I looked at the kit and decided to let the dealer install them.

    Seafoam fuel treatment

Maybe it helps. Maybe it doesn’t. Maybe masks work. Maybe masks don’t. Maybe wearing a mask gives people a false sense of security. Maybe using additives gives a sense of security as well. I personally put an additive in my fuel. Maybe I’m buying into snake oil. But in the end, it’s my tractor...

    Tree Removal

Those are crazy prices. But they figure they have you over a barrel. I do occasional tree work because I enjoy it. The last job I timed. The customer wanted the branches piled in the woods and I took the logs for firewood. They were all dead ash trees, pretty big. Trunks were about 30” across...

    Stink bugs

Peppermint oil repels them. Dilute it in a spray bottle and spray around your windows and doors. That will repel most of them

Buying a LX2610cab this week and any buying advice appreciated. Thanks

You’re right. I didn’t check the weight. It it is a lot of steel. 850# plus the extension for the seat. According to the web. I guess in comparison, a brush hog has lots more steel on it than a backhoe with hydraulics etc.... oh wait, the backhoe weights so much more than an RCR1260 which...

Buying a LX2610cab this week and any buying advice appreciated. Thanks

Bingo!!!! I knew it would happen!!! Only a matter of time... I have a 2610 with a cab and a backhoe. The backhoe weights close to 2k pounds and it has no effect on the front end. My box blade is close to 500 pounds. My brush hog is a 5’, I’m not sure of the weight. However, the front end...

Buying a LX2610cab this week and any buying advice appreciated. Thanks

Sorry DirtyDeed. It wasn’t aimed at anyone. I guess I was just frustrated at asking, and reading other people’s questions and some people chime in that are very opinionated but have never run the equipment they are spouting about. And how people side tract some threads with nonsense. when...

Buying a LX2610cab this week and any buying advice appreciated. Thanks

Hey McRockFish I have an LX2610 cab and I love it. To answer your questions.... 1) I have R-14’s and I love them plenty of traction and they don’t rip up grass etc. 2) pricing is pricing. The market is hot right now and prices are on the rise. You could call around and see what others are...

    Quick Hitch Selection for L2501

For what it’s worth, I have a speeco E-hitch. It doesn’t require bushings and it seems well built. Plus it didn’t take that long to get from everything attachments

Best implement for 1/2 acre plot

not an answer to your question, but.... wheh I have a job that’s rough, like mowing and unknown pasture etc, I use old equipment that I bought cheap. Then if I hit something bad, I’m not damaging nicer equipment. Once I know the area, I use my nicer, more efficient equipment. And on another...

    Grapple

Have you made sure it’s not the 3rd function valve that’s malfunctioning?? disconnect the hoses and loop them together. The lid should open and close manually. If it moves, it’s the 3rd function malfunction

LX2610 and LP 6foot Box Blade (6 rippers)

I have an Lx2610 with a 60” box blade. It pulls it no problem with the scarifiers up. I don’t often put them down, but when they are down, it still pulls it just fine. you should really only be pulling a box blade in low if the blades are down. If you only have a 72, or that’s all that’s...

    David Bradley Hay Trailer Questions...

I just picked up running gear. I found the tag and I’m looking for more info. It’s a David Bradley model 231-428. What were the original specs for this trailer? What was the weight it could carry? It’s pretty roached and needs a complete rebuild. Someone cut the ears off of the frame and...

Need grease gun - new L2501 owner

I have 2, the professional one and the green one. The professional (yellow) is the best grease gun I’ve ever used. The green one is ok, but in comparison, the yellow is much nicer. The pistol grip is very nice. I can easily grease everything without feeling the need to have an electric pump...
