You can drain it from that fitting, and you should remove it and check it for contaminants, But the proper drain is right on the bottom, directly under the seat AND a small plug at the bottom of the final drives (both sides) on the outside.

Should be no problem where you are! Go to an oilfield supply store and pick up a #3000 pressure guage then the fitting to adapt it to your tractor.

Milo is exactly right! be sure to catch those balls when you remove the cap. Clean it all up and pack it with lubriplate when you reassemble it.;) Ed

UDT is universal differentials and transmission oil. It isn't exactly Hydraulic oil but it does serve that function in most tractors. Almost all oil manufactures have a version for sale. Ed
