    Front end loader snow blade

I think it would make good sense. Once you get the blade tilt where you want it you won't need to adjust it again anyway (provided your tilt cylinders don't leak). The angle function will be quite useful.

setting up a hydraulic system for a tipping trailer.

On the B6000 the relief valve that is in the TPH valve is set to 1200 psi. If you install a remote valve you probably should set its pressure relief to no more than 1500 psi. A 4 inch cylinder will exert 9.5 tons of force at 1500 psi. may work OK as a log splitter if your wood isn't too tough! Ed

setting up a hydraulic system for a tipping trailer.

The power beyond system that is recommended antime you want to connect open center valves in series utilizes three hydraulic lines to the control valve. one line is "P" or pump, the oil comes from the hydraulic pump into the valve there. the next line is "PB" or ,power beyond, the oil leaves the...

    1982 L245DT crankshaft splines

That is probably normal. You have considerably more flow now than ever before so the "deadband" in the valve is more noticable. If it wasn't that way the loader would tend to drop a little as you first pulled on a lever. more people would complain about that than a little load on the pump! Ed

There must be a screw or a snap ring out that is causing the spool to not react to the centering spring in the loader valve. take that spring end off again and have a look! It'd be a shame to replace a whole valve for the want of a screw! Ed

setting up a hydraulic system for a tipping trailer.

Why not? Just cut the hydraulic tube going from the pump to the TPH and plumb in as many spools as you like! The proper way would be to use a three line system with a power beyond type spool valve but hey! There are LOTS of these tractors running good with a simple valve connected in series. I...

    B 7100 Engine Swap

Hi Erik First of all, that is the correct engine for a later model early B7100hst. The engine identification is stamped into the block right alongside the injection pump. and, No, a 722 is a new style mini series engine it will not work in your tractor! At least not without a LOT of work. (i...

The TPH lever should be tight enough to stay wherever you put it. If the loader valve is not staying in the center position it could be moving just enough to close the center port and not quite open the cylinder port so load the pump some.

Excellent! Good to know, there is a guy near here has one. He hasn't been in for parts yet but if he does we can help him. Ed

    RPM for bush hogging

If you are working your diesel engine it is always more productive and easier on it to operate it close to it's rated speed rather than lug it down. 2600 rpm would be fast for some diesels and slow for others, your engine is designed to be most productive and efficient at that speed. Ed

    B21 rear end noise

The front wheel drive is driven from a gear on the pinion shaft. If the front is still driving normally the problem will be after the pinion shaft. (crown gear, differential, either final drive, etc.) You can further pin it down by experimenting with the diff lock and each wheel brake. I don't...

I cannot find any tractors that were imported into Canada by Kubota that used a 1512 engine so I can't help you. Maybe some of the Gray importers can though.

The feedback is via the linkage on the left side set the lever near the top and try adjusting the linkage to see if you get any response. If you look at the diagram in the parts manual you can see how it all works.

When your TPH goes back down does it push the lever down too? Is the linkage just above "a" in picture 2 fastened to the end of the rockshaft so it pushes the linkage when the TPH goes down?

Cold Starting Starting L 3130 Help

These tractors are normally good starters and I think should start OK at -7 with 15w40 but Joe is right, 15w40 is too heavy for winter use. You should use a 5w or even 0w oil if the temp remains below freezing. remember, the oil pump on these engines is on the front of the crankshaft, ABOVE the...

    1982 L245DT crankshaft splines

Quite easy to do on your tractor. Simply start the engine, put the TPH lever in the fully raised position then adjust the linkage between the rockshaft and the TPH valve until the three point hitch goes down some, then turn the adjustment the other way until the rockshaft is within 1/4 to 1/2...
