    B2710 intermittent starting

It is certainly possible that something is sticking in there. I have never had one do it though.

    Propellor Shaft Removal

You will have to lower the front axle enough so the drive shaft can be slid out above it.

    B2710 intermittent starting

If the lever is returning solidly the problem isn't the spring and likely is the engine stop solenoid sticking.

    B2710 intermittent starting

Or you can just put a small external spring on it!

    L1801 hydraulics problem.

It is working correctly right now considering how it is plumbed. For the three point hitch to work properly though it needs to have a shutoff valve in the hose that leads from the TPH to the loader valve that you shut off when you want to use the TPH.. This was a common way to plumb them. It...

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

Why do you think we never installed anything to the rops on tractors we sold that wasn't supplied by Kubota? As a dealership it just wasn't worth the risk. I really don't like dealing with lawyers

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

ANY modification to safety equipment not authorized by the manufacturer absolves them of responsibility and places the responsibility on the shoulders of the modifiers.

    B2710 HST power loss

On a B2710 the only thing common between the HST and the power steering is that they share the same oil. Is the power steering working OK? Could it be foaming the oil?

    SVL 75-2- what throttle position

Skid-steers are way more fun at full throttle! Seriously though, no need to run there all the time. If you can, try to get it fully warmed up each time you use it. Avoid shutting it down if it is doing a regen and avoid letting it idle too much. The SVL DPF has been one of the most trouble...

    Conversations about the C... word

Re: Ill ask because I don't know... Good to hear you are recovering well. It's a bugger getting old isn't it? I'm recovering this fall from surgery for prostate cancer. Doing well enough I guess but sure frustrated being tied down. Gives me more time to make comments on OTT though so not all bad!

    B7100 Head gasket

It is rare that you can get away with reringing any diesel engine without resleeving if it is to correct low compression. almost for sure if the rings are worn out the cylinders are too. This is especially true for small diesels.

    Should I Buy a MX5800?

Every regen leaves behind a small amount of ash which builds up in the DPF eventually plugging it. The larger ones can be cleaned but that requires disassembly and then cleaning at a approved facility. I'm not saying to never buy a DPF equipped tractor but if a smaller machine without a dpf...

    Should I Buy a MX5800?

The expected life of a DPF muffler is 3000 hours, your exact time might vary. DPF's are expensive and the labor to re and re them is high.even with the best of maintenance that expense will be unavoidable.

    Should I Buy a MX5800?

Because I work on the darn things and I know that sooner or later your tractor is going to cost you a LOT of money!

I'd like to get hold of one too! I can't see why it would be very difficult to eliminate all that crap on these machines.

    Should I Buy a MX5800?

If you can manage with a tractor under 28hp it will be much simpler and much cheaper to maintain in the long run because it won't have the complication of all the DPF and other emission control devices the higher HP tractors have
