    hello everyone

Hi I don't know if either of your tractors have an overrunning PTO Though I doubt it. The purpose of that clutch is so the inertia of the pto implement doesn't continue to drive the tractor forward when you push the clutch pedal. Seeing both of you tractors are independant pto I don't think...

    B7200D Hydraulic Strainer Location

Yes! I've had that problem! Sometimes they are $%#@ tight! I wouldn't use heat though. Be carefull putting them back in (If you ever get them out!!!) They are very easy to crossthread, which may have happened the last time it was out. I have jacked the tractors up to get a longer equalizer in...

    7800 axel

Is the screw in the center housing? If so you can just take the four bolts you mentioned out and remove the spindle assembly. The drive shaft inside the center housing will then pull out and you should be able to get your screw out!:D The spindle is sealed to the center section with an oring, it...

    b7800 whine

Hi mark123 The whine you describe is coming from the plastic shield on the driveshaft to the front axle. specifically, it is coming from a plastic bushing at the rear (small end) of that shield. The fix is to simply remove about 1 inch of the shield including the bushing. you can climb under...

    05 L3130 Transmission Question

Hello Draybell, You'll have to first determine if this is a engine power problem or a HST problem. OR if it's a problem at all! This exact complaint is why the new 40 series L's have "stallguard". What is the load on the tractor? Is it reasonable to expect it to go full speed in high gear with...

    Jack up the tractor??

Hi Avnut48, Something is definitely wrong here. I have never had problems installing mowers on a Bx1850. Is it possible you have the wrong wheels installed? There should be a couple of inches clearance in there! And KJJ, I have to agree with you! The mower deck on the B1750 was a b#$^h ! B...

    Block Heater

I agree with OB1 Use a coolant heater. For all the reasons OB1 wrote plus it will get your engine warm enough to start much quicker. Not that a pan heater is a real bad idea, but they are never as satisfactory as a block heater. The Kubota heater for your engine is very easy to install. Ed

    B8200 Knock from intake

I wouldn't wear out the bolts taking that cover on and off, if it's running good now I'm sure you won't have any problems in there. Loose valves are better than tight valves as far as doing damage. Too tight valves don't cool well because they don't contact the seats securely enough or maybe...

    Moving Stone

Hi Here is a link for a very interesting attachment for your three point hitch http://www.alcandistributors.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=46&Itemid=78 It would require a remote valve to be really useful but even that isn't hard to do! Ed P.S. This company is in Saskatchewan

You guys know that there are two Kubota Orange colours right? The new one is called Bright Orange the old one simply Orange The older Kubota's will have the simple orange paint. ALL Kubota colours fade badly if left in the sun so matching paint is a real challenge! LOL Yes Joe, Stu would be...

    bx 1800 axle seals

Hi bfoster129, welcome! It is very easy to change the wheel seals on your tractor. first of all remove the wheels and then drain the hubs (it will drain the whole axle so have appropriate container) remove the ring of bolts you see there ( I think there are 5 on a BX1800) then pry off the hub...

    1st tractor

There is considerable difference between the lift capacity and the recommended implement weight. remember, the lift must be able to lift the implement when it is engaged in the ground also! I have to continually remind the sales people in the dealership I work in of this fact. They seem to...
