I recently purchased a 2001 Kubota L3010 HST with front end loader with 680 hrs on it and i'm loving it. This purchase came after years of wanting one but having to wait until I could afford to buy one, just wish I would've had it 15 years ago to help with the odd jobs around home. I have 420/70/24 Firestone tires on it and they are loaded, I don't have any information on how much air these hold...can anyone help me Also, was just watching some of the videos on you tube from service guy Vic...how can I tell if I have the 2 way clutch? Great videos Vic...keep them coming

What do you mean by 2 way clutch? And I'd run those rear tires about 18 to 20 psi Fronts 35 psi.

I'm wondering about the "internal overrunning clutch" now myself! My tractor is an early (1988) model B9200 with gear drive. So, I've got the "double clutch" set-up. Your tractor is a newer hydro drive unit.

Do either one of use have the "internal overrunning clutch"?

Maybe someone will elaborate on this situation.

I don't know if either of your tractors have an overrunning PTO Though I doubt it. The purpose of that clutch is so the inertia of the pto implement doesn't continue to drive the tractor forward when you push the clutch pedal. Seeing both of you tractors are independant pto I don't think they will have the clutch nor do I think they need it.
I hope Vic elaborates on this a little also.

Most of my tractors have water in the tires and I don't have a gauge for liquid. When I fill a tire with water I have the heaviest implement attached. I add air to top off the tire to the point that it squats a little with the implement raised.

I didn't know about the internal over-running on my B6100E. I guess the last person to use it didn't either. They had an external one on it. I took it off since I don't like them. I make sure not to get in a position to have to stop quick but can with the brakes on my Leylands. When checking to see it the pto locked in on the B6100E before trying to use it, I found it locked turning it one way and turned the other way. You could hear the ratchet click in the rear end. Of course I had the engine off.

Didn't figure i'd start a new topic..maybe i'm suppose to , I was wondering with the HST if when your working around and you stop to get off to do something but let the tractor running, are you suppose to take it out of gear as well as put the park brake on, or can it be left in gear? Was wondering if it hurts the pump ?

Hey Brokersdad. No it won't hurt the hydro. As long as you know your tractor is not going to creep as some do. Emergency brake is a good idea but no it wont harm the hydrostat. Oh the bit about the tractor creeping was about your safety not the tractors.
