    MX condenser screen is worthless

@Hunter1157 that's great. I will probably do the same when I get a chance. I really think trying to increase the insulation on the floor or under-floor area of the cab would greatly help as well. There's a lot of radiant heat coming up through, and this would likely have a greater impact on...

Stationary PTO switch doesn’t work MX6000

Thanks. Guess I didn’t read the manual close enough

Stationary PTO switch doesn’t work MX6000

The whole point of the button was to avoid flipping the seat forward, I thought

Stationary PTO switch doesn’t work MX6000

Unless I’m doing something wrong. I know the switch is connected to something because when the tractor starts and the gauges do their little sweep and all the warning lights turn on for a second…that stationary pto switch lights up then goes out. But no matter what I do, I can’t make it light up...

    Trailer Recommendation

I suggested he get a Big Tex 20-foot deckover. That trailer has a longer tongue which does allow setting a bucket or grapple on it with room to swing reasonably, and is 2' longer than the trailer you are showing. Here's my 2018 Raptor towing an L4310 with the loader attached and a 6.5' flail...

    Trailer Recommendation

The problem I see is that most posters seem to believe the OP is ignorant on how to tow. Actually, he seems to know more than most. He knows the rated towing capacity of his truck, he knows it has a TBC (which many half tons do not have), and he knows the approximate weight of his tractor and...

    Trailer Recommendation

Holy cow, some of you guys are going way overboard. The OP wanted a recommended trailer "length" not opinions on how bad his truck sucks or why he really should be towing a tandem-duals 40-foot tilt gooseneck with a Perterbilt just to handle his L3010. I believe if he can find a good trailer...

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

Its worth noting the amperage draw of add-ons like a light bar. As it is now, the MX owners manual states that if you have the CCV heater and idle your tractor for a significant period of time, the tractor may stop running due to a discharged battery. In other words, the alternator can't keep up...

    MX condenser screen is worthless

Just pull all the little beige plastic caps off from around the edges of the headliner. There are bolts exposed underneath the caps. Take all those out, plus the ones on the back you mentioned. Then the plastic roof just lifts off.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

The roof comes off easily without removing the headliner.

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

Chim, how did you mount the cubes inside the loader tube?

    MX condenser screen is worthless

I haven't tinted my glass yet, I imagine you have done that? Another thing I noticed is that a lot of heat comes up from the floor area of the tractor. I'm thinking of removing the seat pedestal and floor mat, and coating the whole thing with a sound / heat insulator. Something like Dynamat but...

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

FYI- M4 and LX cab tractor have the same LED work lights. $233 each. Probably not worth it

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

Only the M4 and LX cab tractors get LEDs, until you get to the really large machines. The Grand L and MX unfortunately don’t. Perhaps they could be retrofitted but it would only be worth it if they were significantly bright.

Will do. I operate at night quite a bit, especially in the fall.

Rammed the loader valve on MX6000 cab and damaged it. Can I still use the tractor?

I took it apart last night. The valve itself appears to be undamaged. The thick (3/8") steel angle bar that the valve mounts on actually is bent forward, which snapped one of the two cables completely. The other cable is bent and damaged but still attached, and that is causing the loader...

    Flail mower sizing for L6060

Late reply, but I have extensive experience flail mowing. I ran a 78" flail behind my L4060 HSTC for the last couple of years. It worked fine but would big down in the thick grass or on hills. The tractor handled the weight very well. This year I am running the same mower behind my MX6000 and it...

Parking brake doesn’t hold on slope

I have found on a brand new tractor the brakes need some bedding in. But the key is just press the brake pedal down really hard and then set the parking brake latch.

Kubota M6060HFC, 2019, AC compressor sqealing...

For what its worth, my L4060 HSTC had 360 hours on it with no A/C problems and no belt adjustments. I would definitely start with replacing the belt. Those Kubota A/C compressors are extremely expensive for some reason. They are also very small.
