    Hst and hydraulic filter mx6000

At $6/gal, with a burn rate of over 3 gallons per hour, you only need to run the tractor 4 hours at PTO speed to equal the price of the OEM HST filter. Adjust your hours slightly if your fuel cost is a little less than mine. It definitely won't take a month or more. Point is well taken. How...

    Rust on hydraulic lines

Unfortunately, I highly doubt warranty will cover rust, as they will blame the rust on the conditions you used your tractor in. The best defense is frequently washing the tractor anytime it comes into contact with salt. That's obviously hard to do in the winter. Some guys coat parts of their...

Grand L 60 cab tractor owners - need a quick favor

I'm still thinking of the magnets route. As it is right now, the flimsy floppy screen leaves quite a bit exposed on both sides anyway. At least the Grand L screen is rigid enough to remain tight up to the condenser.

Rammed the loader valve on MX6000 cab and damaged it. Can I still use the tractor?

Yesterday I was backing up a steep grass reservoir dam covered with thick, dense vegetation. At the very top, I suddenly felt the loader joystick move and slam into my leg. At first I was puzzled how the stick could move on its own, especially since the loader is not currently on the tractor...

Grand L 60 cab tractor owners - need a quick favor

I finally measured my MX condenser. It is the same height but seems to be more than an inch wider.

    Not a lot curling power

I've had a number of Kubota tractors with loaders, my L2501 with this same loader was a bit of a disappointment as well. So too was the LA805 on my L4060...not nearly as strong as the LA1065 on my previous MX4800 nor even the L4310 from years ago.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

I’d say my use is pretty typical. My old open station MX4800 would overheat too, eventually with enough buildup in the radiator.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

I went to the job site with my Honda generator, the small pancake compressor, and the blast nozzle. That method was successful in clearing the cores. The AC coldness was restored. However, like a bonehead I forgot a measuring tape to measure the condenser. Oh well, I’ll be back there again tomorrow.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

The chaff build up is from grasses in front of the machine that release when the grass stalks start to get pushed down as the tractor runs them over.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

Again, woodman55 thanks for the screen measurements from my other thread. I’ll measure my condenser when I’m back on the job site and if it’s pretty close I’ll order the L60 screen. Having run the L4060 last year, I didn’t have this problem so I attribute it to the really lousy MX screen. In...

Thanks so much woodman55. That is super helpful.

Grand L 60 cab tractor owners - need a quick favor

Hi folks, Could someone pull the metal screen that protects the AC condenser and just give me a quick measurement of width x length of the screen? This is the first screen that pulls straight up to remove, not the larger one for the radiator that slides out sideways. I now have an MX6000 cab...

Lol, sorry for the hijack. Should have moved my part to the chat section.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

Here's a pic of my previous tractor, an L4060. Although the hydraulic and fuel coolers are set in front of the condenser, in this arrangement you can see the much nicer screen (metal, tight fit) that just pulls up vertically. The radiator also had its own screen, although it was more of a pain...

    Trailer ramp problems

I'm afraid the Vortec 6.0L will be a better engine than the new 6.6L gas that replaces it. The old 6.0L was great because it was so simple - port injection, no cylinder deactivation, no variable valve timing. Just a good old pushrod 2-valve V8. In an application like a one-ton dump, the gas is...

    MX condenser screen is worthless

Yes, there is a flimsy flexible screen not of full width which hangs in front of the condenser about an inch ahead of it, allowing chaff to be sucked in past it on the sides or around it quite easily. Behind the condenser is the hydraulic fluid cooler. Above that (and the condenser) is the fuel...

    Guns...Times have changed...

Some people will heavily criticize me for this, but I would rather have a gun in the hands of a psycho than have laws that keep guns from the millions of law abiding citizens.

I also have a 2020 Mustang GT 6-speed manual as my side toy. I love the Corvette. The C6 is my favorite generation. Your 2016 is a better car but I felt the true classic styling was changed just enough to make me prefer the older generation. That said, the C7 is a much nicer looking Corvette...

    MX condenser screen is worthless

Thanks for the replies. The magnet idea is something I hadn't thought of and a good solution. Sounds like Kubota isn't the only one with dumb designs. Right now I'm very angry with Kubota. I mowed for 4 hours yesterday to finish a job. I brought a soft nylon bristle round thin brush to try and...

    Guns...Times have changed...

BMeyers, I agree completely with your lengthy post. Powerful leaders have no problem implementing laws that would remove guns from the hands of law abiding citizens because they know that they will still have armed personal security. I guarantee if these leaders were told the laws they were...
