    Weighted skid plate

Why do you need it under the tractor? Why are wheel weights and loaded tires not enough? If it must be under the tractor you will need to find a fabricator. If you want just a skid plate find someone in your area like this:http://www.southeasternmachineworks.net/welding.htm This also came up...

Thoughts on leaving my snow chains on year--round?

We had a 12 hp Wheel Horse that we used to mow the yard with. We also used it to snow plow. The tire chains never came off of it in 20 plus years. I have always felt much safer with the chains on the tractor. I grew up in SE Ohio and the hills are steep and slippery with turf tires.

M4-071 rear remote (jammed?) not accepting coupler

I would suggest that you shut the tractor down and move the lever the controls that valve back-and-forth several times. With the tractor still turned off try to hook up your hydraulic and see if it won’t attach now. You do not want to stick a screwdriver into the hydraulic coupling. It’s too...

    Spun rim

It’s a relatively small tire. Remove it from the tractor and lay it on its side. Break the bead off and use a rim sealer that you can buy. And re-inflate The tire. If you work carefully you can do this without unloading the tire. If you are uncomfortable with that idea unload the tire use the...

    L2501 will not start

The PTO lever on the transmission is controlled by the lever upon the fender. It is very often the cable that connects the two becomes stuck. Fuel Filter stuff

When you are talking to the dealer skip talking to the salesman. Often they are some Tom, Dick or Harry that is good at selling something to someone. Instead talk to the service manager. His job is to make you happy while keep the cost to the dealer as low as he can. Also I would suggest that...

    Temp storage building

If you make the ties 2 rows high you will be able to weedwhack around it to keep it looking nice. From experience build the frame on the driveway and measure the dimensions. Mine was not close to the 10 by 17 feet and I had to adjust the ties to make it work.

    Temp storage building

When I put mine up I laid out 4 railroad ties and placed the tent on top of them. This allows the ROPS to pass under the doorway in the upright position. It has been money very well spent for me.

Say what you want about PETA

PETA worked for the banning of farrowing crates in the hog industry. So now the mama pig rolls over in her pen and kills her own babies. This single action put thousands of hog farmers to go out of business.

Pushing rear attachments, specifically a landscape rake?

I see no problem in pushing with a landscape rake. I’m not sure how this rate in the OP question. if he is talking about simply going in reverse with the tractor and the teeth pointing towards the rear tires are there should be no problem backing up. If you’re talking about reversing the rake...

I guess you did not listen to the news today.
