    Warranty Papers

My dealer delivered my tractor with all the implements, as well as all the physical paperwork for each piece, all dated the day of delivery. He also explained the warranty for each piece. Top notch family owned business and I couldn't more pleased with my purchase.

    Recommendations for a tiller?

I've used reverse rotation in the past and garden more than most folks do. I didn't like it's results as well as forward rotation.... to each their own, I guess that's why they sell both. Warranty? It is super important....Land Pride is 3 year gear box, and 10 year sprockets and roller chain. I...

    Recommendations for a tiller?

I have the Land Pride RTA1258 tiller that I purchased new with my tractor. I love this piece of equipment. It covers my tracks with R1's set at the widest setting. I tilled a new 1/2 acre garden in heavy soil and by the 3'rd time over it was ready for planting....pricey, but worth every...

New Tractor Operator - Skill Building or Jump In Head First?

Be sure to engage the PTO at idle speed and then increase to the proper level....also lower the rpm's before shutting down the PTO. Congrats on the new machine.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It is amazing how much work and time saving a box blade creates. One can do so little (with it) that would take big time without the equipment. worth every penny.

    Pto Quit

The slip clutch needs to be run in when bought new and should be backed off for storage and run in again every season. Is the clutch slipping? If so tighten all the bolts to the proper length. For my Land Pride tiller they need to be 1 1/8 " to run the tiller, but free enough to slip if you hit...

    Upcoming 50 hr maintenance

Yep, it's really amazing how prepared you can become by checking out the videos and being prepared. It's almost like you did the service before, when you actually start the process. Fluid is cheap when you think about it.....I'm going to be changing the udt2 at 50 hours because it's in the best...

Hydraulic leak - Factory or Dealer to blame?

Yep, at the time of purchase I asked the dealer about warranty work, and was also told it's up to me to get the tractor to the dealer, just like a car dealer. I have no problem with that at all, or could of made it part of the deal.

    L2501 the right decision?

I'm also totally happy with my L2501. I waited to buy being concerned about buyers remorse. I shoulda bought back in Jan before the 3% increase, but glad I did in March with everything I wanted at the dealer before the shortage woulda caused some waiting. Both the box scraper and the 58" tiller...

is a 6' box blade too big for L2501?

Yep, the dealer set mine up with the land pride BB1266. I have no problem with it at all. When ripping deep, I do use front assist, and pleased with how well it works.

    New hatch of chickens

We also have all the preds you mentioned Nic. We had a yote come and jump against the chicken pen door trying to get it to open during the middle of the day....prolly had pups to feed and being outside without a weapon, I managed to scare it off. The good Lord created chickens to free range and...

    New hatch of chickens

We also have our fair share of predators here too. We always keep a eye open and have a shotgun loaded near the patio door. The worst are the Bobcats when they have young that are being weaned. They sneak to the edge of cover and jump out if a hen gets close enough. The number of Bobcats here...

    New hatch of chickens

Something we do every year, and really enjoy. The free range flock provides eggs for many families and the joy we get from their antics is priceless. I've been doing this for almost 50 years. The extra roo's are always great Sunday dinners. I enjoy knowing where my food comes from, and the fresh...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally hooked up the new tiller and spent a hour tilling the gardens. I'm really impressed with the power of my new tractor. I was able to run my tiller without any front assist...thought for sure that would be a must. No bog down and no not enough HP, a thought that might be a issue....totally...
