Tiller clutch "run in" RTA 1258

I purchased the tiller new and it needs the clutc" run in " process before using. The bolts are backed off and need to be adjusted to the proper length (1.14 inches) Once the clutch plates are slipped. My question is .... how critical is the measurement and , I assume one can do this right on...

    Brand new owner. Ballast?

Congrats on your new tractor! Mine was delivered yesterday with rimguard in the tires also....dealer said as long as I have a boxblade or similar equipment on the back that I should be good to go with loaded tires. Playing with it will teach one if that 's the case. Too wet out there right now...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Just had my new L2501 delivered yesterday with a QH10. I love it and is easy to hook up and go. Trying to push the button and slide the pto at the same time does not work......you slide the pto on as far as it will go, and then push the button pushing the final click....trying to do both at once...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The best investment I made was a pair of cutting chaps. I'm not young anymore either and they keep you safe.

    Just a little vent

Check the book stores that sell used books. My daughter sells and rebuys books all the time at her favorite book store. The store she uses is called half price books...I'm sure there are alot of good book stores like that.

    Push me off the ledge

I would go Kubota all the way. The quality of the small Deere's doesn't even compare. I volunteer where they bought a new 1025r last year. MMM and front blower. The mower deck is cheap compared to Kubota's and it had to go back twice for warranty work....mower deck would not lift and the 2nd...

    Implements and Equine Discount Question

With the price increase that Kubota had last month, some of the discounts are gone. I waited to purchase until after the price increase....no second implement discount at my dealer when I questioned the issue. It might affect the Equine discounts also?

    Show me your Refueling Setup

How long will diesel fuel keep? I no longer have a fuel oil boiler in the house...however I have prolly 300 gallons of #2 fuel oil in my buried tank next to the house foundation. I was going to offer it to a shop that burns waste oil in their shop furnace. Just wondering how long it is still useful?

    New L2501 purchased today

I hear you dog. It's not a tax friendly state for sure! I called the dealer back and said I needed to add a tiller to the deal.....that will run $2,250.00 and another $124 in tax. Good thing the land pride has a good warranty. Dang...too far to ship from NH.

Help me decide between two sheds!

How much do they charge for the permit? Bigger is always better if you can afford it.

    New L2501 purchased today

LOL....I have a bad habit of calling diesel gas...they sell it at gas stations! Talked to the dealer about the telescoping part and he said with the QH it is not necessary. Great idea about the bucket hooks dealer installed.

    Wisconsin DNR Snapshot Wi program

Nice picture Ken. We applied last year to try and get in the program, but the area was already taken here and also our church has 60 acres of wooded property, but that area was taken also. My daughter is the DNR forester at Bowler and informed me of the program. We do keep our own personal trail...
