    Zerk fitting

Yep, and when I suggested the steel brush for the painted zerk, it's because it has proved reliable before when zerks don't accept grease. The steel bristles will also rotate a stubborn zerk to accept grease again.....replacing zerks is a vast variety of sizes, making the working one easy peasy.

    Zerk fitting

I would take a steel brush and scrape the paint off. Doesn't look kike that zerk is going to take any grease.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yep free ranging chickens is the only way to go! They are happier and provide better eggs with the ability to eat the good stuff they prefer.....collected 10 eggs today and have 20 eggs in the incubator due to hatch next week.....we love having chickens.....since 1971 and still going strong.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Awesome volunteer work Ken. My daughter is the DNR forester here in our area, and it's amazing how many good projects going on never make the news.... good things are happening around us in these trying times!

Draw bar uses if you have a 3-point or quick hitch mounted receiver?

I just used my drawbar with the box scraper attached to the quick hitch to pull a stuck tractor out of the mud. I ran a long chain under the raised box scraper and dropped the hook in the drawbar.....one, two three, and out it came. Knocked the chain out and we are on our way.....mine is staying...

Firewood, What do you burn and how long do you season it.

I burn between 20 and 25 face cords yearly. It's my only heat source and always season my wood one year, unless it is dead and dry when I cut it....then it goes right in the basement and handle it two less times not having to stack and then load again to place in the basement. I burn everything...

equitable way to purchase and/or share implements with neighbor

One more thing on the shared equipment. Some pieces are used alot more than others....if you own the most used piece of equipment, his stays like new and yours becomes worn out. Just a thought.

equitable way to purchase and/or share implements with neighbor

Bad Idea and won't work out well for either of you because of it not being returned like it left. I take good care of my equipment and know other folks could care less....I suppose you have the best neighbor, and it will remain that way if you don't share your stuff. It could get ugly.

Warranty repair at dealer where you did not purchase the tractor.

I recently purchased my new Kubota from the closest dealer. I would not even consider buying cheaper from a more distant dealer and go closer for service when I need it. Buy close and service close and be happy....folks that are in business take things personally and you would too ..... if you...

Landpride fixed Bar Box Scraper (BB1260)

I have no problem with the BB1260 ripping....even in a sodded field with tall grass and heavy soil. Adjusting the top link will create or reduce how much rip you create. I have no extra weight on the box...just sayin.

First 5 hours review of L4701HST

Not much space on the inside of the R4's for chains on the L2501...it's the main reason I kept the R1'S....plenty of space for chains with the track set as wide as it goes. I have a really rocky property also, but didn't give me reason enough to change the tires. Time will tell if I'm glad I did...
