How does my 500hr suction screen look? (Kubota BX)

From my limited knowledge and from what I can see I would be fine.

    Super UDT question

Easy and cheap fix for the clear fluid problem. Works in Kubota fluid just fine. John Deere. The product is MT3668 Less than $10 i think.

    Super UDT question

I do not know the chemical makeup or additive diffrence. From my understanding the super udt2 will work fine to replace or add to what you have. It will just have more protection that the super udt and might make it run quieter. From what I read the fluids can be intermixed. But its best to go...

    Daily Chuckle

Hmm, starting to miss the humor that was previously in this otherwise outstanding thread.

    New guy questions

Unless the mud is covering something to affect the operation of the tractor such as the radiator then its probably not hurting a lot. Personally I keep mind somewhat clean. Easier to service and lots easier to notice any problems that need worked on. Probably want to be somewhat careful around...

Disc harrow question, pull type or 3pt

The rototiller would be great idea from some of your posts. Problem will be finding one in decent shape and in budget range. Hard to find in my area.

Disc harrow question, pull type or 3pt

That right there is why a 3 point might be the best choice on 5 acres. Especially if your just running around the fence row. How do you adjust the depth on the pull behind while your working it ? Unless it has hydraulics on it then its a pain in the rear to stop and get off and adjust then...

    Pre-School Brush Hog Alignment

If the stabilizers are rusty or other wise being hard to turn then remove the stabilizers. The bolts on each end can be removed from the tractor and brush hog. Once you have the stabilizer out where you can easily work with it then you can get the treads lubed up and it turning. Then reinstall.

    Grandl3560

L3560 here also. 2 years old and over 600 hours. Work has been over a wide range of jobs. Quite a bit of stump bucket work removing cedars and bodark trees, grapple work, driveway building and repairs, brush hogging. Concrete drive and patio removal and extensive grade work. It’s not a skid...

    Husqvarna

That’s interesting. If were looking at the same gate. Looks like a standard light weight gate you would buy at the feed store or box store around here.

Finally Got It Done, BX2380 50 Hr Service!

Mine recommended that the hydraulic filter be changed fairly quickly. The fluid could remain. Seems the OP has completed the job and so no harm done other than perhaps a few dollars spent sooner than later.

    L3940 vs L3901

L3940 would be my choice for pretty much the reasons listed above.

    R4 Tire Repair

Not a tire expert but I have seen similar smaller holes or cuts plugged and aired backup. Would think a patch would work if its not on a area where the sidewall is flexing. Do you have a front end loader on the tractor ? Might make a difference on responses.

Agree on the super udt2 also

    200 hr service

Not a expert but it seems like the Kubota filters are often times better than what is sold over the counter elsewhere. Later on in time as you get more hours on it the hydraulic fluids will need to be changed. The type to use is also highly debated. Kubota’s products seem to also be at least as...
