    Caps for hydraulic fittings.

Would some pvc pipe with a cap on it meet your needs? Should be cheap enough to buy and fabricate what you need. Thinking out loud and some electrical tape to secure them as needed. I use pvc pipe for lots of things, my uncle works for a sprinkler company. After the job any left over pipe gets...

    Boom or Boomless

I have the Fimco 25 gallon boomed sprayer I use on my 4 wheeler. I typically shut off the right side and fold in that boom. I spray using the middle and left boom 95% of the time. It works well, not spraying 5 acres but I do spray 3 acres of food plots so not much less. The height is...

    Loaded tire, now flat

For me I had my front tire go flat, had a screw in and the bead broke loose. I tried all kinds of ways to add air back to it with no luck. Even removed it and laid it on ground with uncle helping and after couple hours no dice. Loaded in back of truck and carried to local tire shop 3 miles...

    HST fluid change with filters

My L4600 cost me about $250.00 for the SUDT2 and hydro filter to change it myself. It was easy to do however I also changed the air filters, fuel filter, engine oil, hydro oil, greased, front axle oil and washed and waxed. Total time was about 10 hours to do the above. I pulled the tractor near...

L3901 won’t lift and curl at the same time.

I cannot directly answer your question because I do not have a 3901 but what I can say about my L4600 is.... If the RPM's are low say around 1200 the curl function is very slow and when lifting and curling like when I'm getting ready to pull out of the barn it is slow. Up the rpm's and...

Cold snap.....1F What fuel treatment do I add to my Kubota?

I use Power Service year around, it is cheap and good insurance. I have the 2 jugs with a measuring cup stationed beside my jugs of fuel. When time to fill jugs with fuel. I add the required amount to each jug then go and fill them. I use 1.5 gallon jugs makes for easy lifting and at end of day...

Bucket hooks again ... weld on vs bolt on

I decided on 4 hooks and 2 shackles, like the versatility of the 4 hooks. I don't use the ones near the edges when pulling heavy things. In fact last night pulling a small tree that had fallen in the creek, the outside right hook was needed to get the log past a tree still standing. Good luck...

    Rotary tiller for L2501 HST

While slightly larger I ran a 5' reverse tine tiller on a L3400. It handled it fine. I rarely used it to break ground the first time. I would run over ground first with disk then use the tiller to break up the area. A reverse tine pulls against the tractor while a forward tine will try to push...

    Source to purchase used implements

I look for farms that appear to be idle. If work does not appear to be going on, grass and weeds growing through implements and the yards around barns look little maintained I'll stop in. Been lucky to find some things I could use. Going today to look at a 6' disk, old school real steel. I'm...

    New member from Montana

Welcome from NC, nice machine. My cousin recently purchased a MX5200 and he loves it. They raise and sale long horns so it is mostly used to support that around the farm. Moving round bales, cleaning up pasture, pulling a no till planter etc. Enjoy. Jay

    R1 or R4 Tires

The R4's are wider so I believe new rims will be required. The experts will soon be along to confirm or dispute the above. Side note I like my R4's, minimal tracks in my yard unless wet and do find job in my garden. If I used my tractor a lot where wet then the R1's would be needed. Good...

Anybody know a source for these bottles?

I am a little OCD and the picture was taken in my calibration lab at work where I spend most of my life…..I don't share the space with anyone so much easier to keep things in place. I do believe their is a place for everything and everything has a place. So it was not hard for me to get on board...

Anybody know a source for these bottles?

Just for fun I weighed the 2 bottles, smaller one weighed in at 38 grams and the larger ones no lid was 78 grams. Added screwdrivers to see if they would turn over, nope. Now I can make them but I was impressed how wel lthey stayed upright.

    Garden planning 2021!

I tried over wintering my red new potatoes, planted in October and they just made it out of the ground before the cold cold hit. Plan to add some fertilizer to them and hill them up some more soon as garden dries out. If it goes will should have a batch ready couple months after I plant this...

    Garden planning 2021!

Check out Hoss Tools on youtube, I really like his garden layout. His is divided up into a number of small gardens which allows him to drive between them and do excellent crop rotation. He has a lot of good videos. The blue berries, black berries, strawberries and the like I would keep separate...

    Subsoiler for B2650

I have a subsoiler I use in my garden to help prevent roots from trees invading it and to help with as you say with air and water entering the soil. I perform this once in the spring prior to planting and then again before planting my winter cover crop. I purchased a Everything Attachments...

    L2501 loader re-attaching

Before storing mine on concrete I used stall mats. I cut one to sit the bucket on and some about 1 foot square to sit the feet from the stands on. It was cheap and worked fine, had the old mats laying around and it also kept the bucket and feet off the ground.
