Anybody know a source for these bottles?

Looking to buy some of these bottles- down to my last one, and they are perfect for brushing on oil for tapping, drilling, turning. etc.
They are impossible to tip over, but somewhat fragile when you knock them off the bench onto the concrete floor.
Ideas?

I looked a bit online, probably like you did, and did not find anything resembling your bottle, at least not in glass. I did see plastic ones without a screw cap. However, in the back of my mind, it seems I have seen bottles like that at one time. I want to say, I saw those type of bottle used in hobby paint. That was probably a long time ago.

Look in a lab supply catalogue like Fisher, they should have flasks with and without screw tops.

I don't know a source, but I think it's called a conical flask or an Erlenmeyer flask

Yeah, looks like your best bet are the Erlenmeyer flasks with screw caps. I see they have 50 ml ones on eBay.

As long as you can see the contents through the side. I found a steel can about the same size & shape, but you could never tell how much was in there, and it always ran out at the most inopportune times.

Another feature of the bottle I want is that it is tall enough, with a narrow enough mouth, to keep the brush standing up.
I searched for "cone shaped bottle" and found antique ink well bottles on eby, $10-$60 ea.

My wife buys frappucciono by the case. You can by it by the bottle at 7-11. Small glass bottles with lids and a large mouth for "free".

These might be close to your needs. Shatter proof plasic, clear on the bottom part, good chemical resistance. Description: 2 Pcs Plastic Conical Flask, Erlenmeyer Flask w/ Cap 50ml, Shatter Resistant
Example: 2 Pcs Plastic Conical Flask, Erlenmeyer Flask w/ Cap 50ml, Shatter Resistant | eBay
In fact, I think I'll order a couple to have sitting on my lathe table. :)
I wonder if they's be heavy enough to be tip resistant- less than 2" base, but 3 1/8" tall....

Looks like paint storage bottle for an airbrush
I think we may have a winner!
Never thought of an airbrush accessory; my airbrush has smaller, straight side bottles.

My oil bottle is 3oz, 2 3/4" base, 2 7/8" tall, and came with a black bakelite screw top. (got 2 from an estate sale)
These are 3oz, 2 1/2" base, 3" tall.

Thank You to everyone who took the time to search for this item for me.
Checked around and the Amazone deal that i7win7 posted was the best deal, so they are on order.
This is a great forum!

I have several of that exact bottle in front of me, yep super hard to tip over.
The are actually 2.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall, the 3 inch measurement with the metal top.

I have this style but no tops for the small ones.

If you were closer lil Foot I would be happy to drop them off.

Thanks for the thought, I appreciate that brother!

I'm sure the ones I ordered will do the trick, a tad smaller and lighter, but completely serviceable.

I did check with Fischer Scientific & VWR Scientific (now part of Avantor) and they had similar beakers & flasks, but I remember from my days in the chem lab that they are pretty fragile compared to my oil bottle, which is very thick glass, pretty stout.

There were some in my lab with screw tops and heavier glass that might have worked, but when I got into the catalogues they were pretty pricy. A lot of labs use the plastic flasks, but they would not have the weight you need to make them stable.
