Caps for hydraulic fittings.

My Kubota came with the standard snap on caps for the couplers and fittings for the front loader.
The caps on the male end work ok for keeping them free of debris. And the "plugs" for the hose ends just plug the holes and do not cover the fittings. Since I keep my loader outside in the weather I found out today that the couplers freeze pretty easily. Does anyone have a better method for keeping these ends protected from weather?
Are there better caps / plugs available that will cover the coupling as well?
My storage situation doesn't allow me to keep the loader on and connected.

The plugs and caps come off the unused fittings on my tractor. It's stored in a shed so weather isn't a big issue. Condoms?

If you are trying to cover the whole coupling I would suggest making your own out of an appropriately sized hose.

Would some pvc pipe with a cap on it meet your needs? Should be cheap enough to buy and fabricate what you need.

Thinking out loud and some electrical tape to secure them as needed.

I use pvc pipe for lots of things, my uncle works for a sprinkler company. After the job any left over pipe gets cut and tossed in dumpster so he loads it up and drops it off at my house. I have everything from 1/2" to 3" in full length pieces stored under barn.
