    Hydraulic Jack Knob

This jack is dedicated to press duty. I've never taken it off the press, as I have two other jacks I can use if I need one.

    Hydraulic Jack Knob

I saw a couple of items on Amazon that were knobs/extensions to attach to the valve on a hydraulic jack that obviate the need to use a slotted handle or such to tighten and loosen the valve, and Saturday I made my own with a knob I had in my collection, a piece of 3/4" bar stock and a little...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Oregon Gator blades do an excellent job of chopping up leaves. I had a really thick layer of cottonwood and maple leaves in the front yard, and after a couple of passed over them with the BX you could barely tell there had been any leaves on the ground.

[BX23S] How do you like that seat angle??

That's why I put this seat on my BX.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used the BX to mow the yard for probably the last time this year. Due to the dry weather, I think I only mowed ten or eleven times since April, the last time I mowed was almost four weeks ago. It's just short of it's 50 hour once a year oil change, but I'm going to do it anyway. Same for the...

    Found my dream welder

I'm on my second 211, I had an earlier model I bought about 15 years ago, I think, and when the new smaller version came out, I sold the older one to a friend and bought the newer model like you have. Great machine, I use mine a lot. I have the spool gun, but haven't tried welding aluminum yet.

Can You Mount BX Tires On A Regular Tire Machine?

You mean the valve core? Otherwise you'll have to break the bead to get a new stem in the rim.

A lot of dying going to happen

They have been fighting over land in the middle east since man walked on two legs, maybe even before that. I think the solution to the middle east problem is to fence off all the contested lands, let anyone that claims it in, no one gets out, and the last man standing owns it.

A lot of dying going to happen

As long as religion guides people's lives, zealots in those religions will believe it is their god given mission to kill or otherwise subjugate or denigrate those who worship other gods. It's been that way since we invented religion, and will continue until we move past religion and it's...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I put one on my BX2230 three years ago, and it works great. I even 3D printed an enclosure for it.

Large data backups - how do you backup?

I have 3 NASs, one in the office, one in the safe downstairs (it has power and Ethernet pass throughs) and one down in the shop, totaling about 4TB. My computer backs up automatically at 2AM every other Sunday.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I ran into the same thing this week, but on the clutch Z-bar for my Nova. I'm changing the linkage to Heim joints from bent rods and cotter pins. I drilled the clutch pedal arm out no problem, but the Z-bar was harder than Kelsey's nuts. A 3/8" cobalt bit wouldn't do much more than knock off the...

    BX Deck maintenance

I can grease all the zerks on my 60" deck fairly easily, the spindles, idler pulley and guage wheels, but not the drive shaft for the deck and the rear pivot joint. Those are buggers to get to, and have to use a regular coupler as the lock-n-lube is to big in diameter to get into the zerks...

Pickups with sliding rear window and fiberglass cap

I've got a Leer cap on my '06 F150, and although I rarely use the sliding rear window, the times I did open it, it vented just fine. The fun part is washing the window and the cap window, you have to remove the cap window to get to the truck window. I've only done it a couple of times, as it...

BX1880 and my guess is that I’ve gotten air in the fuel line.

Once fuel gels, it has to be heated up to around 150° to get disolved back into the fuel. RCW is right, Diesle 911 will disolve the parafin back into the fuel.
