anyone have any experience with trucks that have sliding rear windows with a cap on the bed?

I am adding a fibreglass truck cap over the bed of a Ford F150 with a sliding rear window. Any experience if this screws up how the sliding window vents or works?

thanks in advance

Only one experience, but venting was fine.

Depends on the cap. My slider turns the cab into a wind tunnel with the cap off. It does the same with the cap on but that's because the cap also has a window up front and side windows. So when all 3 are open it works about the same mabey a tad less air flow due to the lack of rotating air vortex the bed has naturally.

Back inthe day little brother had a ford with a sliding window, so he found another one and put it in his cap. So the kids could climb back and forth only thing ha had to do was put a thick layer of that black foam between them sp the cap of the truck was tight to the camper cap. Open the windows in the cap and the rear window in the truck,, and man it would suck the chrome off a bumper hitch,,, ya ya ya I know,, pervs

I've got a Leer cap on my '06 F150, and although I rarely use the sliding rear window, the times I did open it, it vented just fine. The fun part is washing the window and the cap window, you have to remove the cap window to get to the truck window. I've only done it a couple of times, as it doesn't get dirty very often.

I've owned several F150's with rear sliders and a cap. No issues using the rear sliding window with the cap.
