I don't think anyone believes 100% of what they read in the news. I know I never did.
That said, is there anyone here that thinks Hamas didn't attack Israel and kill 1000 people?

I remember the USS Liberty. As stated above the fog of war sucks, at best. For conspiracy believers, nothing will convince them is was anything but a terrible mistake.

Which god ? Assuming 'your' god the only correct god or prophet is an issue that has led to many wars in that area.

As long as religion guides people's lives, zealots in those religions will believe it is their god given mission to kill or otherwise subjugate or denigrate those who worship other gods. It's been that way since we invented religion, and will continue until we move past religion and it's inherent evils.

Israel has openly bought many of the US government decades ago.
The battle over the middle east has been on going on for centuries.

I am fairly comfortable with the premise that the Israelis aren't going to blow up the World Trade Center. Not so sure about Hamas with its Iranian backers. . .

Now that it has been confirmed (maybe/unofficially) that they are holding American hostages there is another quandry. I don't know what we can do to rescue them. Apparently Israel doesn't want our troops there. . .

I think that has already happened. The problem is that the conquered aren't willing to conveniently and magically disappear.
