RPM gauge install on B7100 HST

I stand corrected. Edit: Only for the gas engine version has the internal battery. The diesel version has no internal battery.

RPM gauge install on B7100 HST

I have a Tiny Tach installed on my BX and another on my Yanmar genset, and no it doesn't have an internal battery, it runs off 12 volts. The unit has three wires, 12V power, negative or ground and a lead that goes to the pickup that clamps on the injector line which also has a ground lug. I 3D...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I loaded the BX up and went over to my niece's house and mowed her lawn. I've been rebuilding her JD LA125 and it's not quite done yet, and her lawn was getting pretty shaggy. The BX with the new Oregon Gator blades make short work of it.

Loud clicking sound from loader BX2200D

Did you check the loader mounts that bolt to the frame to make sure one of them isn't loose?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I used it to set the 10KW generator into the frame of the genset I built. It weighs about 150 pounds.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

In case you didn't notice, I plug welded the 1 1/2" tube to the 2" angle on the front side to give it more strength. If you enlarge the picture, you can see the welds.

    New grille

My '06 F150 with 244K still has the original compressor and condenser on it. Of course I'm sure it doesn't get near as much use here in northern Indiana as yours does in Arizona.

    Vintage DeWalt RA Saw

If it's operating on 115V, then use a 115V 20 amp relay. It doesn't say on the wiring diagram, but the capacitor should be wired through the NC contacts, as the capacitor is only needed on initial startup.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Here you go. I fabbed it up out of some 2" and 1 1/2" square 11ga tube, 2" X 1/4" bar stock, 3/4" square bar stock and some 2" angle that I had laying around. I already had the clevis installed in the bucket, so I bought a turnbuckle at TSC to secure it to the bucket. With the clevis, it puts...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I used the BX to suspend the seat pan of my niece's JD LA125 while I gave it a coat of JD green.

    Kubota oil

If it's 15W at 25-30°, I would hardly consider that "goo." As far as 60-70% slower cranking speed, I've never noticed more than a small decrease in cranking speed when cold, and a lot of that would rightly be attributed to loss of cranking capacity in the cold soaked battery. As for the valve...

    Leveling a deck on a BX...what a PITA !

I just replaced the blades and leveled the deck on my BX2230 yesterday. I used a machinist's snap gauge to measure blade height, worked pretty well. The right side was about 1/2" higher than the left, three turns on the adjuster brought it down within an 1/8" of 3" high, and one turn on the...
