Loud clicking sound from loader BX2200D

I was leveling stone today behind the tractor shed, seems every time I set for float mode there is a very loud "click" coming from the loader....is that normal, seems too loud for that. Almost sounds like the loader will self destruct.
I looked around all the connections, seem fine, don't want to break this tractor, need to get a lot of chores done. Could it be the deck hitting the frame ? I just put that on a couple weeks ago.

Make sure to check all the pins holding the bucket and cylinders on. Possibly something became mis aligned..
Only in float mode??

Edit: re read post.. could a rock have found it's way into one of the pivot points?

Thanks for the reply, I'll look it over very closely. I did notice that it also does it now when doing down pressure in reverse.

Did you check the loader mounts that bolt to the frame to make sure one of them isn't loose?

About 3 grunts - maybe that's why mine come loose about once a year

I checked with a breaker bar and, a pipe for leverage.....it's well past 3 grunts. That noise has me worried, guess I'll just keep searching.

Get the bolt size, remove one if necessary, then get a torque chart that will show the specification for each type of bolt.

If you greased it did you see it oozing out of every joint you greased? If not try again and don't miss any of the multiple ones it has.. look high and low.

I just used mine after sitting for a month and a half and it made a pretty good click/creak/pop noise.. I'll be greasing er up next time out there.

Get someone to operate the loader while you watch. Hopefully you can pinpoint where the noise is coming from

Tractor data.com says 19 years old at youngest for BX2200 so I suspect pin slop in loader.
