Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

Seat belts are designed to keep the occupant in the normal operators position whether it be going forward, back, sideways or upside down. Any time you are operating a vehicle with a cab or ROPS you must wear a seatbelt. To do otherwise is shear stupidity.

3 point hitch question / problem

it is called a position control. Try it with the box blade unhooked and the arms at the lowest position. Then lift the lever until the arms are level with the box blade pins. I bet it is close to the point where you start to see movement when picking the blade.

    B7800 Hydrostatic transmission.

If the lever and shaft that extend from the side of the HST unit are tight and moving fully when the pedal is pressed in both directions then Its is likely inside the HST. It may be difficult to see but you need to verify the shaft is turning as this is what moves the swashplate inside the HST...

Regen and def on large vs small kubotas

Urea is a solid not a liquid. It is It is mixed with water to become a liquid, once the water vaporizes it reverts back to a crystalline solid or simply put crystallization. This can happen at any temperature if conditions are right as water can revert to its gaseous form at any temperature...

    Correct Hydraulic oil??

Pick a good quality name brand hydraulic oil. Although some of the stores brands are fine too. Tractor Supply and Walmart both use quality vendors for their products. I don't see an ISO 32 listed at Tractor supply though. Straight hydraulic oils are some of the more basic lubes you will find...

BX23S new from dealer - front axle BONE DRY

I would demand at a minimum an extended warranty on the front axle if not the entire drivetrain. Male sure this is documented thoroughly at the dealer level and Probably with their Kubota customer support representative too.

Regen and def on large vs small kubotas

The primary trigger for regeneration is differential pressure across the DPF not the SCR. DPF and SCR are two separate systems dealing with 2 different pollutants. There are other triggers for regeneration as well. Most DEF tanks and pumps are heated by coolant but some have electric heating...

    Woods C80 mower on 2601

The B2601 is claimed at 19.5 @ I believe. The H should be about 26 if tuned and running well.

    Woods C80 mower on 2601

Sorry but a B2601 does not near the same PTO HP as a good Farmall H. But it should mow grass OK if you go slow enough

    Woods C80 mower on 2601

That should be a 80" cut not 72". It should run it if you go slow and I don't think you will have any issues pulling a tow behind vs. a 3pt cutter. Just remember this is intended for lighter material than most single spindle cutters are. Look it over well as parts may be harder to come by. That...

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

A lot depends on the design of the system but usually they will incorporate an anti-cavitation or check valve that will allow the oil to recirculate to eliminate or at least reduce the cavitation that can occur.

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

Well the company I work for manufactures construction equipment. But I have worked on many different types and brands of equipment in my past. Most modern hydraulic excavators use an open center system utilizing variable displacements pumps with some sort of pump regulation to control output to...

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

Not necessarily true. We manufacture equipment with open center systems that only flow what is needed to satisfy the functions activated. There many types of systems out there. What would be more accurate is to say fixed displacement pumps will flow a fixed amount in relationship to its speed.

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

The pumps cannot produce more "flow" than their maximum displacement at any specific rpm. Hydraulic circuits have some sort of protection built in. It could be a simple pressure relief valve, a pressure compensator or limiter or one any number of other pump regulation devices. Running at...

B2620 Rear Remotes & Power Beyond

To say there is no backpressure in an open center system is not accurate. As stated in one of the other threads it all depends on what restrictions lie in the path back to the reservoir.

B2620 Rear Remotes & Power Beyond

That's odd because I don't know If I have ever seen a wood splitter that didn't have a PRV incorporated into the valve. Running a separate relief would not be cost effective.
