    Spill Timing - B2150HSD, V1200

The item on the end of the injection pump camshaft is the weight portion of the governor. It will not affect injection timing. If someone has been inside the engine previously I would suspect that the timing gears may not be timed correctly but it does not look straight forward. You will have...

    L6060 mid-PTO hydraulic qc - fittings on bottom-right quick-connect leak

Clockwise looking toward the rear of the tractor. Hold the Tee with a wrench and tighten the nut

    L6060 mid-PTO hydraulic qc - fittings on bottom-right quick-connect leak

If the adapter that you have the wrench on is spinning with that wrench only, you need to tighten the swivel nut behind it where it connects to the Tee or else the swivel nut is compromised.

Fuel filter complete vs Fuel element for L3901

I've never heard of steam being an issue, it is the fact that water will not pass through the holes in the nozzle. This usually causes the tip of the nozzle to be swelled or the tip split or blown off.

Fuel filter complete vs Fuel element for L3901

Just drain and or clean your separator regularly. Water should be stopped by the filter. You do not need to add treatment as these are mostly created to separate you from your money.

    Backhoe VS Excavator

Working in the construction industry for 30+ yrs I can guarantee an excavator of equal size will out perform a backhoe when excavating any day of the week. Most serious contractors run excavators for excavating and SSL's or wheel loaders to move material. The vast majority of end users that buy...

    M6950 Injector Pump Removal

I would make sure there are no restrictions in the lines, fitting and banjo bolts before I removed the injection pump. You are talking a good chink of change to have it "rebuilt" and if that does not remedy your issue you are out that and still have to diagnose the issue. There is also a screen...

Tractor Shakes when PTO is engaged and RPMs are low

I would pull the hydraulic filters and cut them open to inspect for signs or wear. If you see excess metal you can assume something is coming apart inside. Hyd or transmission oil is designed to run at or about 180F a good range is 170-200F. Once you get to 220 or above then you start to...

ball hitch on the drawbar - is there a pin-on version?

Why not use a receiver and exchange couplers? Also you have to figure liability. Say you produce such a product and an end-user does not secure the product correctly and someone gets hurt. In a court room you end up being the bad guy or at least broke. The way I see it the 60 sec it takes to...

    L4310 steering cylinder leak

I don't think they offer it in kit form. You will probably have to order individual part numbers if ordering from Kubota. There may be aftermarket kits available or you could take it to a cylinder rebuild shop and see if they can help

    Snow plow width

Joe I personally would go with the 7ft version as anything larger can be difficult to push if you get a heavy snowfall. Ithaca snowfall is not usually that bad so you should be OK. Also the larger the front attachment the more it unloads the rear tires when off the ground and backing up can be a...

    L6060 steering binding

When talking about pressure you must remember that pressure is just a measurement of resistance to flow. There is flow through the HST housing so any resistance will result in a measurable increase in pressure. This pressure is or should be minimal. Most likely below 10PSI, I doubt it should...

    L6060 steering binding

The HST case should have no air inside of it. The case relief valve should only come into play when you have cold oil and the flow through the cooler creates enough pressure to open the relief. Basically it functions as a cooler bypass. During normal operation at operating temps all oil should...

    L6060 steering binding

During operation the charge pump is constantly pumping oil into the HST case either through leakage in the HST pump/motor or through the charge pressure relief valve. This constant flow of oil quickly purges any air that may be in the HST case if there is any at all upon startup. So the HST case...

    L6060 steering binding

I can explain it to you, but I cannot make you understand apparently. But I will try one more time. Below are 2 images showing the structure of the HST and the hyd flow shown above. In the HST structure image it shows reference number 3 as the "Outlet port (to the oil cooler)". This would...

    L6060 steering binding

Using the diagram you posted I have drawn up the correct flow for that circuit. By blocking the steering valve return (blue/orange line) to the inlet line (green) you are diverting oil through the cooler in the opposite direction intended and out through the case relief shown in the yellow circle.

That diagram is right out of the same WSM. Check out pg 3-M25 in the transmission section.

    L6060 steering binding

You have the flow of this circuit backwards. The oil flows from the top of the HST case (case drain) through the cooler and joining with return oil from the steering valve and then to the inlet of the hydraulic/steering pump. Please see the diagram below. What @dgtvrpepair has done is reverse...

BX2230 key does not tun off engine

The WSM has the diagnostic information to determine what the failure is. It is basic and easy to follow. I would download and do the troubleshooting before replacing parts. It may indeed be the solenoid but if it is not why buy a part that you cannot return?
