Injector pump issue/black smoke/key shutoff not working L3130 D1503 engine

Setting the barrels on the injection pump is really a job for an injection pump repair facility. If you remove the locking bars that hold the barrels you may be able to see how they were originally oriented and get close. But you should still get someone with the correct tooling set them.

    blocked dpf filter on svl90-2

First off no manufacturer is trying to screw the consumer. They all want customer satisfaction that drives the customer to return to them. Unless expressly written into the purchase agreement, service is not included in the price of purchase. This includes repair costs and tooling to perform...

Injector pump issue/black smoke/key shutoff not working L3130 D1503 engine

Turning the pump barrel does not change timing it changes the relationship of fuel delivery and no fuel condition for each cylinder. Also this being a mechanical injection pump I doubt that codes will be set or cause your issues.

    blocked dpf filter on svl90-2

Why do you say the OP doesn't have the "right to" work on his machine? Anyone can purchase the Kubota diagnostic software shown and try to diagnose as they are able to. If you want your cake for free consider this. The OEM spends a boat load of money developing a product, so they should be...

    blocked dpf filter on svl90-2

Look up the EPA's regulations but it is a long read. The EPA sets a number of parameters around the operation of the exhaust aftertreatment system. Otherwise it would be too easy to disable the system.

    blocked dpf filter on svl90-2

Jim the EPA sets the parameters that the DPF regeneration process can run at when there is an issue or code. If the engine has a fault code it cannot perform a regen. If soot load has reached defined levels the regen has to be set to parked, forced or at the most severe level cleaning or...

Injector pump issue/black smoke/key shutoff not working L3130 D1503 engine

Does the engine shut off using the engine stop lever? Does the engine respond to rpm changes when moving the governor lever? Is the engine running at a fixed rpm when running and not trying to runaway? By chance did you loosen the injector lines at the injection pumps without holding the hex on...

    Valve core size

As far as I have seen there are only 2 sizes what you would call standard which is about .302-5 OD and 32tpi and the larger size which is primarily used one heavy equipment. I prefer not to cheap out on valve cores so I usually buy them from a tire repair vender like Tech or or someone like that.

    Front tire width set up

Can you flip the front tires from side to side to widen the track? Yes you can at least you can on my L4310 with R1's as the lug holes are tapered on both sides. But this puts added strain on the front axle and steering components so I would not recommend it. The amount of perceived stability...

Chain tensioner mod on Land Pride Tiller

Did you just drill a hole to mount the sprocket? If so how do you adjust the chain when it wears? I have a RTA15 series and have never had an issue with mine loosening or breaking. I only have to take up the slack every couple of years.

Traveller Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid is Misleading!

Have you ever spoken a lubrication engineer for an aftermarket oil manufacturer/blender? It is routine for the aftermarket to ask for the specs and for the OEM to share them.

Traveller Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid is Misleading!

I purchased the machine from a municipality. They used Mobil going from their records. My choice to use The Traveler brand is purely based on cost and availability. As far as the viscosity index goes that depends on the base stocks used and the vii's used. I have not seen the VI of the OEM...

Traveller Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid is Misleading!

An HST is a hydraulic system. Is only a hydraulic pump and motor transferring energy from the crankshaft to the final drive of the tractor. It requires nothing in the line of "special" oils to work properly. UDT or tractor fluids are designed with special characteristics to deal with the...

    Needing a reman engine.

I would assume you mean connecting rod and not push rod. If it only requires a new connecting rod and crankshaft I would rebuild my own or have it done if you don't have the capabilities do so yourself. I would also question why the connecting rod and bearing failed in the first place.

    Shank Repairs

On my Bush Hog box blade all the shank tips are welded on from the OEM. The tips are made to be replaceable hence the divot in the side of the shank and the side of the tip hammered into that divot. It's purpose is not as a breakaway device. If they are welded on it will be more difficult to...

    Add turbo

If you had sooty exhaust someone may have already messed with the fuel screw. That or your engine is worn enough you are not bringing in enough air or loosing it on the compression stroke. But as a rule a diesel will gain nothing by adding only more air. You have to have to add more fuel to...

    Add turbo

If you don't turn the fuel up you will see no gain in power. Power in a diesel is directly related to fuel delivery.
