    Kubota l275 fluid change

I'm assuming you're referring to the transmision. There is a check plug on the side of the transmission under your left foot, fill until oil comes out of it. The plug usually has some yellow paint on it.

    Oil change issue

Not ALWAYS. Usually yes, but I have seen rare exceptions, including my 08 cummins that I deleted the EGR and DPF at 100K. Deleted it, drove it home, dropped the black oil, drove it 100 miles and did another oil change that came out just slightly discolored. I now have 600,000 on it, do oil...

    Lap Log

A local woman died a few years back while using a FEL to feed round bales to cows. They found her with a bale on top of her, the tractor still running in reverse stuck up against a hay stack. The tractor had the detents that would latch the hydraulic levers. They think she was looking backwards...

    New 3560 HSTC-LE

OP, congrats on the new purchase. I know what you're talking about regarding the snow in the face thing. I was running my open station MX5000 the other day plowing snow with my FEL at -20 °C with 15 kmh winds. When I was pushing into the wind and went to dump the bucket about half the snow would...

    Tow Straps

Only once. My daughter overshot our driveway and slid on the ice over the shoulder. (My jeep but she OWNS it lol) So, I made her get the hook, tow strap and shackles that I have in my, er her, emergency kit and hooked it to the back of my MX5000 and pulled her out. No damage or injuries other...

    Tow Straps

Weird, mine is an 18 and I purchased the hook from my Jeep dealer.

    Tow Straps

Your Jeep has a small plastic plug on both bumpers that you pop out and install a temporary tow hook that is available at your dealer. Pop the plug, insert the hook and give it a quarter turn to lock it in place. I think mine cost me $40 if i remember right.

    JD to Kubota ZTR

First, I'm a Kubota addict, so my opinion is biased and needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but I have several Kubotas and they are all great, durable machines. I bought a Kubota ZD1211 ztr last spring. It is a beast and has been flawless, 72" deck on it and I don't even slow down in tall...

Ok, thanks for the info, NIW.

    Loader in float position?

Here's a question that just occurred to me. My MX5000 is stored in an unheated shed. Will the hydraulic oil warm up quicker if I put the loader in float position while the engine is warming up prior to driving? I'm not sure how the hydraulic flow pattern is on this particular tractor but I...

Secondary Filters on Kubota BX & L Series

My understanding is that the secondary filter is used to ensure zero dust particles or debris get into the intake during cleaning or replacement of the primary filter. There are some manufacturers that state DO NOT remove the secondary filter for the life of the engine unless the primary filter...

    2001 B7500 4x4 not engaging

Make sure it's not something simple like a sheared off or missing roll pin where the lever rotates the shaft on the side of the transmission. I had this happen on an L185, thought it was something serious at first but just had to replace the lost roll pin.

    B7200 - power steering?

Tony, raise the front end off the ground with the wheels pointing straight ahead. Turn each direction to full stop, counting the revolutions of the steering wheel each way. Also note if the angle of the wheels is consistent when you hit the stops. If the number is different from one direction to...

    Rear remote valve

I'm not sure on the BX, but I just ordered a single remote for my MX, to replace an existing homemade set up that the previous owner installed. They gave me the option of single, dual or triple remotes. So I would assume you should be able to get the same for a BX.

    La 852 loader

Thanks, NIW. I went with the LA852, my dealer says the 702 is no longer available. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet as the tractor is still at the dealer waiting on a hydraulic valve kit for a set of remotes to the rear. The previous owner had installed some kind of homemade setup on it...

50 Hour Oil Change--What Oil to Use?

I run a rental fleet of light towers and generators running both Kubota and Isuzu engines. Initially I used dino 15w40 in all of them when I first started my company, had no problems even with over 30,000 hrs on some of them. As time went on, I switched to synthetic 5w40, still had no problems...

    La 852 loader

Do you know what the difference is between the two? I need to order a loader for my MX5000, and not sure which one to get.

    L185 pin plug.

Yeah, I hope it didn't run too long without oil, either. I have no idea how long, other than I know it wasn't leaking until after I got off the tractor. It seemed to be running fine when I got back to it, and after adding some oil to it, it spun over and ran fine for the few seconds it took to...

    L185 pin plug.

Hi guys, I searched but didn't find anything conclusive. I started my L185 and left it idle while I installed the loader on my B7100. I came back 10 min later to find the oil light on and a pool of oil on the ground. It came from a hole cast in the block just above and behind the oil filter.(see...

    "It'll never happen to me..."

A few years ago, the wife of a friend of mine was using the fel to feed round bales to cattle by herself. The tractor was an open station Case with the type of hydraulic levers that locked into position due to detents in the mechanism. It appears that she was backing up while lifting a bale...
