    PTO cable problem - adjustment/lubrication?

Follow the cable to the other end and see if the lever it activates is bent or something causing it to be too stiff to move, or possibly there should be a spring on it to assist it to disengage. It might be that the cable is dry and needs lube, but I doubt it. Does there seem to be much...

    B7100 vs B7200HSD

They are both great machines and with the low hours, and if they've been properly maintained, will last many years. They are similar units and both are built to last. I wouldn't be scared to grab the B7100 for that price. The later HST units also had cruise control, which is a nice feature when...

    L285 Water Pump

Where is the slop in the front end? If it's in the tie rods and steering knuckles, replace them. If it is in the steering box, it can be tightened up by removing a little rubber plug usually on the right side, and adjusting the screw that is under the plug. Only make small adjustments though...

    B7200 3 point hydraulics

Have you tried opening up the rate of drop valve under the seat between your legs? Maybe someone closed it or it has a piece of debris in it.

    Belly Mower

https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15164 There is a couple pics of a 72A on this post. It looks like the belt is layed out mostly where it's supposed to run, other than the farthest left hand idler. Not sure if the long run flips over it, or if the short run flips under it.

    buying advice

When it comes to tractors, like a lot of things in life, size matters. It's always better to have a little more HP, lifting capacity, weight, stability and traction than not enough. Plus, you have less chance of wear and tear on a slightly over sized unit than on a slightly undersized one. The...

    RCR1860 PTO Shaft hook

The RCR1860 is available with either top link set up. Fordtech's has the optional floating link on it. Both styles float, just differently. Your hook should rotate in a circle by hand if the tension on the lock nuts is set correctly, and is just there to hang the driveshaft on when the mower is...

    B7200HST D Tires

The rear tires you currently have on there should be 31" tall. If they are shorter it can be hard on the 4x4 drivetrain, unless someone already put shorter tires on the front to compensate. If the rears are already 31", then you can't go any taller for the same reason.

    Considering new ZD1211-72

Have you had a chance to use it yet? If so, what do you think? I'll be doing my first cut this year in about 3-4 days, and I can hardly wait lol.

    ZG327 or ZD1011

I bought a ZD1211 last summer. It is a well engineered, well built piece of equipment that I can tell will last many years. This thing is a beast. The diesel engine is the heart of these units and will last forever if taken care of. My grandkids will be running this unit someday, and I don't...

    New User, big B3300SU problems

What kind of noise? Grinding sound? Knocking? Maybe you've spun a rod bearing, explaining the low oil pressure?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Washed the MX5000 and taught the wife how to run it. She was surprised how easy, and how nice it is to operate. Changed oil in the B6000 and used it to rototill up mine and my son's gardens. The thing is a little tank, I'm sure it'll still be rototilling gardens when I'm a distant memory...

    B6200E Bad Water Pump?

Tough to tell from the pics for sure, but it looks like yours is a thermo siphon unit. That item that your fan is attached to is the dynamo (if there is a few wires coming out of it), which charges your battery - you mentioned the battery might need charging, maybe the dynamo is piled up. Loosen...

    Considering new ZD1211-72

Congrats. I'm sure you'll love it. It took me an hour or so to get used to it when I first got mine. Did you go with the 60" or the 72"? Also, what is that cable that goes from the right hand control stick to the deck? Mine doesn't have that.

    CV boots

A good operator using a dozer with a brush rake instead of a blade can knock down and pile brush with a minimum of dirt in it. Once piled, he can roll the pile which shakes all the dirt to the bottom anyway.

    2017 L3901 HST stalling issue

It sure sounds like you have something blocking fuel flow from the tank, it could be something as simple as a tree leaf or a bit of plastic candy wrapper. Drain it into a clean container and see if the fuel flows steady all the way until the tank is empty. Then try to shine a light inside and...

    CV boots

This is the second time you've tore up stuff due to brush and trees already. Yeah, I think you bought the wrong tool for clearing bush. Especially 45 acres. You should have bought a dozer, or you're going to have to change the way you're operating the tractor. Tearing stuff up gets expensive in...

    Steering Box Kubota L225

Back in the 80's I had a $100 1970 Impala with manual steering that someone had removed the padding from the crossbar in the steering wheel. The car was used strictly for bombing around the fields at home on the farm. We had this one field that Dad was going to work up that had got heavily...
