GREAT explanation of what we are facing.... The Beginning of the End of the $100 TRILLION Bond Bubble By Phoenix Capital Research Created 01/19/2015 The big story in the world is the bond bubble. For over 30 years, sovereign nations, particularly in the West have been buying votes by...

Anybody else having page loading problem, here?

I thought it was just me... Yup. Mine is uploading posts slowly and hangs sometimes between page loads. Only this site. Is the page loader low on hydraulic fluid? Or is it the output from my home computer hydraulic pump?:D

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

A sled is a great idea but wouldn't work for me because I have to temporarily relocate these against a wall and then set them into place when I figure what goes where. I need the "giant hand" attachment for my machine but haven't found one yet.:) This will work as I have only about ten to...

    It's alive !!! Alive i tell you !!!

If you don't have pictures it didn't happen! :D My L3800 sounds like the bottom of the rods have about 1/2" of slop in them for the first 60 seconds mine starts too. Mo-bettuh after 2 minutes. :) Congrats!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Came up with a neat way to haul large boulders, ones too heavy or large to slide into the loader... Harbor Freight has nifty straps rated at 6000 lb which is about ten times more than I'll need. I use two of them and then a 13,000 lb ratchet strap I cut to about ten foot long for loader use...

ILP, You are in the very high strata of the Orange Elite here with a cab on order. Even some of our Canuck friends in the Great White North don't have cabs. My buddy just north of Columbus wears a snow mobile suit and is fine except for his hands and face. He dreams about having a cab this time...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

OK... I shouldn't complain. Everyone needs a retirement hobby anyway right? This area is gorgeous. Many neighbors have horses. Tons of smart deer hang inside of town limits because there is no hunting and they mooch as good as any animal. Bobcats, occasional Mountain lions. Sometimes a Skunk...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Last month I spread out 60 tons of granite on the driveway... This was one 20 ton load.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yeah... I had a reel-type mower at my first place in AZ for the tiff lawn. Great for the kids to play on but that was years ago. No need now. The back yard was just too crammed with boulders and semi-dead cacti. The boulders were either nice looking granite or black lava boulders. They didn't...

Wierd mystery out in my shop !!

If water is available, they wash everything they eat! You can give them a saltine cracker and they'll dip it in water before eating it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Total Demo of back yard... The previous owners put in a "rock garden" with cacti and rocks of every type. A bit "harsh" for us so we are tearing it out. First, I have to shovel in and relocate to the barn about 30 tons of surface rock. Every rock moved has to be raked into a pile and then...

    AZ Used Machine Alert

Sorry to stick this here but, if anyone out this way is looking, this is the busiest board on the forum... No addt'l info. Does look like it has sat out for a few years. Beware of C/L scams!!!. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/grd/4830556804.html This is a perfect example of a CraigsList...

    L3240 in Elgin, TX

Great looking tractor TZ! Congrats! Not sure where you live in the valley but, if you have looked on C/L, there are farm equipment yards in the west out by Buckeye and in the southeast by Chandler or Queen Creek. Some of its a little "high mileage" missing paint but, there are a few deals to be...

    Introduction and a couple questions

I guess it comes down to knowledge and finesse. Kubota is opting for the more conservative approach to get their tractors through warranty. Your explanation is excellent and makes perfect sense. I broke in a Suzuki DR 650 using the repeated heating and cooling cycles as recommended by the...

    Introduction and a couple questions

Tcrote5516, Maybe the rings on these tractors are of a different design than heavy diesels. Or, perhaps they want the bearings and other moving parts to break in first before seating the rings under normal load. They are pretty clear about taking it easy though for the first 50 hours...

    Introduction and a couple questions

1500 min for light operations with the loader. 2000 for moderate lifting/driving. 2500 for the heaviest work. Listen to the engine for loading. If the tach dips more than a couple hundred RPM, you probably need to add some power. Keep in mind your flow rate for FEL movement picks up with...

    Almost flipped my BX25D

Nope... When I am doing yard work like this I am on the tractor and off it every 2 minutes. Sometimes less.

    Almost flipped my BX25D

Grubbing out the back yard for a complete remodel... Yesterday, I was pulling a 2" tree trunk out of the ground. Vertical with the chain was a no-go. So, I rocked the tractor forward and backward to tear the roots out. On the backward go, the rear wheels lifted off about 12-18 inches as the...

    oil spilled into alternator

If your gonna have to remove and replace it one of these days anyway... Let it sit for a day or two (if you can). 90% will drip out anyway. I'd blast it with a liberal dose of citrus cleaner -that will take out the worst of it. Try to aim the cleaner and water down through the case as much as...

    First timer here, Kubota questions.

Katetx, My wife hates mechanical stuff. My first tractor was a manual Ford and she wouldn't touch it. My L3800 with Hydro Static Transmission (HST) is so easy to operate, she'll jump on the tractor without any coaxing. Test drive them all and see if you find it intuitive too. Getting my wife on...
