I posted last summer about the B6100E that came in a box of parts.
Well after a few months of part time work it fired and ran at last.
The original D650 engine had been pulled and the engine in the parts tub was a D750 which I did not realize at first until the head gasket would not fit.
After that the engine wouild crank and try but not catch and run. That took a new transfer pump to get the volume up to specs.
But finally the engine caught and held.
This is my first 3 banger and it sounds like something is loose when it first starts, but once it idles up and settles down it runs great.
I still have some air bubbles around the No1 injector and a small seap from one of the injector lines to clean up and re-seat. I'm also missing a seal on a hydraulic line but that is enroute from Messick's and there is no rush right now.
Looking forward to summer now.
Thanks for the help.
