Seems like every time I have to load a different page, it takes a 30-60 second wait time for it to load. Just wondered if I was the only one that this is happening to. Don't seem to have any problems, elsewhere, just here at OTT...

Yes, I am also experiencing really long page reloads, and like you, am only having issues here.

Probably those damn Chinese again.

Things are loading at roughly the same speed, which is never very fast, but the thread pages are kind of grey, including the ads,

I thought it was just me... Yup. Mine is uploading posts slowly and hangs sometimes between page loads. Only this site.

Is the page loader low on hydraulic fluid? Or is it the output from my home computer hydraulic pump?:D

Another forum that I am frequently on experienced this same problem a couple of weeks ago and this is what the admin of that site found. His findings and actions:

"I think I got it... the site is still under attack but I'm now discarding requests from the DDoS clients instead of letting them pound the web server."

"Turns out that the attack was from China. I had to block an entire subnet of IP addresses from CHINANET Beijing province network."

And a couple of days later:

"Another attack this morning. Had to block China completely this time."

That's why I suggested China as maybe the culprit.

Hell yes! I have been sniveling about this for days on "Site News".
Been clearing cookies & caches, reseting the browser & all that crap, with no effect. All my other sites behave normally….HELP ME, MR WIZARD!!!

When I was running a board (same software as this one uses) I pulled up the IP spaces for China, Russia, Eastern European countries (a whole list of them) and several Middle Eastern countries and blocked them all. The attacks against my site dropped completely and I only had 2 attacks in 2 years after that and both those were redirected attacks from blocked sites using US PC's as pawns.

Personally, I think we should cut those countries out of the internet entirely and let them make their own insane to be on internet.
