    Exhaust Extension Pipe

I can't believe I'm not dead yet. I start mine up, it idles while the garage door opens. I pull it outside and let it idle while I go in and close the garage door. I can't even tell there are any fumes in the garage (it's detached, 4200 sqft, no exhaust fan). If I kept it in an attached...

    RPMs

I throttle according to need. I don't have a dpf on mine (on purpose) so running full throttle all the time is senseless and expensive on fuel. I let it warm up for about one minute, that will get engine oil to where it needs to be. I let it warm up about 5 minutes before doing any heavy...

    Examples of Kubota Backhoe Skills

The great thing about having a backhoe on your tractor is that you don't have to be smooth or fast. Take as long as you want to do the job. If it takes an extra hour to complete the job, hey, that's one less hour you are sitting inside watching youtube videos ; )

What Is Correct Procedure / Bucket Position When Parked In Garage

It's been 3 days since I've been on it. Honestly can't remember if the bucket is on it in the mancave or outside next to the box blade. Heck, maybe the forks are on it right now. I just park it, turn off the key and move on to the next thing on my list. Pretty sure this tractor will last...

    54" VS 60" FEL Bucket

I opted for the 54" and have wished I went with the 60" from day one. More volume would be nice. I've not found anything heavy enough yet that I couldn't easily lift a full bucket of.

    First dent and scratch

?? Would you bruise your newborn kid on purpose just to get the first one out of the way so as to not worry about your kid getting bruised ?? My mtn bike has more scratches, dents, and replaced parts than I can count, but none of it was on purpose and none of it bothers me. If the tradition...

    B2650 loader bucket moves freely.

Mine does not do what that video shows. I'd be concerned if it did, especially if it does it only sometimes.

    LX2610 swivel seat

My BH seat is bolted in just like the pic Deepwoods posted, except I have no extensions on the subframe. If fits fine. I keep the BH seat in the down position until I need to use it. It is designed to flip up and down easily with a release lever. Both seats will sit back to back, but you...

    B2650 skeleton/rock bucket

It's only 350 lbs, should work fine unless you're scooping over 650 lbs of stones per scoop. Looks like it would be use full for clearing brush too.

    LX2610 swivel seat

Super busy with 'stuff' but I'll try to get some pics uploaded next week.

    LX2610 swivel seat

I kept the comfy seat and just added a BH seat behind it. You do not need to extend anything or get a different subframe. The seat mounted right up to existing holes and works great. The whole swivel seat assembly is sitting in the mancave. It comes with the BH77 and I just told the dealer...

    Analysis Paralysis L2501/LX2610SU…….B2601

I've not had any experience with the BH70, but I can tell you that I love the BH77 and I certainly use all of that 180 degree swing. I'm sure I could get done what I need to with less arc, it would just take longer to complete and I'd have to re-adjust the tractor more often while digging. I...

    Concrete by the bucketft

Yes, you can use the bucket for that purpose. I've done it twice before. A quick hose off will remove most of the residual concrete from the bucket. What ended up drying and sticking to the bucket was rubbed off easily the next time I scooped up some gravel. Both times I've done that it was...

    Your expert opinion please

Looks interesting, not seen that style before. I was considering a grapple at one point, but since I've gotten my pallet forks, I've been able to use those to do the things I wanted the grapple for. The design works similar to using a backhoe with a fixed tooth for picking up things. If you...

Need Advice on Tasks and Tractor to Accomplish Them

A backhoe is something that if you have one, you will find all kinds of uses for it. If you don't have one, you'll find other ways to do those things. I use mine a whole lot more than I thought I would. Does anyone ever need a tractor? No, folks did fine long before tractors were invented...

After one week with the LX2610

That rear placard was a pain. Since I don't drive on the road or trailer mine, I just removed it. It's easy enough to put back on if I ever need it. As far as the ripper with the quick connect, it was well worth it for me. Well made and super easy to swap between bucket and ripper.

    Winch: Hydraulic vs. PTO?

With the newer synthetic ropes available and their much better safety profile, really no reason to go with steel rope anymore. With synthetic, you don't have to build any protection for driver or tractor.

I just wear a Chuck Norris mask so when I look at the pin, it just comes out on it's own.

Which tires for first tractor purchase?

I went with the turfs, loaded rears. I don't use my tractor to mow, mostly loader and backhoe work and boxblade use. I've not had any traction issues, or issues with sidewall flex on the fronts with loader work. The load is limited more by the loaders lift capacity than by the tire choice as...

    Zero Turn Mower

That's the same model/set up that I have. I bought mine 3 or maybe 4 years ago and paid a bit over half of that. I live in TN and drove down to GA to buy it because it was about $1400 less than what I could get in TN. Sounds like they have gone way up in price, yikes. Knowing what I know...
