Add grapple to pallet forks on a budget -- Precision Manufacturing vs Titan vs ???

Why not just use the forks you have? I've moved huge piles, much bigger than a grapple could grab. Yeah, some smaller stuff might drop off the pile, but for limbs and brush you'd be amazed at how well a pile will stick to itself.

    Garage/Workshop Build

The BH is easy enough to lower to get in ... until you forget . I opted for 9 ft doors, wish I had gone taller. My tractor fits in easily without having to think about it, but I have to be careful with the snowboard racks on the truck.

    Zero Turn Mowers

I'll have to start the mowing season in the next few weeks. Time to blow the dust off, change fluids/filters, and top off the battery. Glad I filled both tanks with treated fuel 2 months ago when non-corn gas was affordable.

    Lifting Question

Sounds like all went well. One thing to keep in mind, you can carry a lot more than you can lift. I've carried well over 2000 lbs of concrete barriers on my forks. It would not lift the load at all, the load was slid onto it one barrier at a time from the truck bed. It carried it easily in...

Stop the ROPS bar from loud squeaking when underway.

I did the same thing but with foam backed tape. Just enough give to get the pins in and out but no rattle.

It was just suggested that we may want to look at a B2650 instead of a B2601

The 2650 is much better in all aspects ;) Not really, I'm just partial because that's what I have. You'll find lots of opinions. Best deciding factor is to sit on both if given the chance.

    LX2610?

I just put a foam backed piece of tape in the gap at the rops hinge point and the rattle is gone. The bolt/lock nut or knob would work, but I had the tape handy and not the others. The more annoying rattle was the silly bucket level indicator pieces on the loader arm. Pieces gone, rattle gone ;)

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

I need to learn how to post pics. I'm loving all this bike porn. My road bike is a BMW K12RS. For trails a Yamaha WR450F, the K 250F if a motocross beast that I need to sell before it kills me. For trials a Gasgas 280, super fun even going zero mph. For the track I still have my Honda 600RR. I...

    Mowing with a Bx

My Ferris has full suspension and I can cut 'fast'. I used an exmark zt with just a suspension seat and speed was limited by the bumps. If I carry speed I can mow the steepest parts of my lawn even with a little 'dew' on it. If I stop mid slope and the grass is damp at all, it will spin the...

    Mowing with a Bx

I didn't understand this. A zt will out mow a Bx in all areas, why would you consider mowing the open areas slowly with the tractor if you have a zt that can mow it in half the time? For the OP, if you are just mowing, get a zero turn and get done in half the time, that's what they are made...

Grapple, Add-A-Grapple, or 4 way Bucket

I was going to offer the same advice, then later read that you will have forks already. I was searching for both forks and a grapple last year. I got the forks first and to be honest, they do everything I need so I learned that I don't need a grapple. The forks weigh less so I can actually...

    BX25D upgrade to B2601 questions

Probably not the feedback you're looking for, but... For 5-6 acres of mowing, I'd get an industrial grade zero turn mower and save yourself several hours each mowing. Then a good walk behind snow blower for the driveway and you're all set. The pair should be a lot less than a 2601 and the...

    B2650 Loaded tires with mowing

I apologize for jacking the thread a bit. 461, I was in a similar situation. It took over 4 hours to mow and my back couldn't take it. I bought a Ferris zero turn mower (full suspension), and now I can mow in under 2 hours and still walk the next day. As far as the tractor, I feel like...

Looking for some beginner tractor advice (B/LX + implements)

Sounds like you've already answered your own question. LX2610. The next question would cab or open. I agree 100% with the ZT for mowing. Good luck with the new land.

Removing clumping bamboo with a stump bucket?

That sounds a lot less fun (no angry digging), but a whole lot faster and less work. Thanks, I'll definitely look into that.
